imo jjakji's TvT is underrated. His games against Taeja, MVP, Gumiho, Puma etc have shown that he's actually very good at the matchup, maybe not top 5 or 10 but definetely top 15 in Korea. Jjakji being bad at TvT is an amazingly outdated perception, it's improved loads but his TvZ isn't quite as good as it used to be.
I stopped watching SC2 soon after the Zerg patch was applied (a few months ago) and I remember jjakji looking hopeless against Z. But hopefully it was just because of the patch. If jjakji's TvT improves just a bit more he'll actually be on par with MKP, MVP and MMA. A bit more than that and he'll be threatening to take Taeja's throne.

Every terran looked hopeless vs zerg back then, it's NBD.

To be honest, since the Queen patch nobody's TvZ has been as good as it used to be. But yes, overall other terrans have recovered better.

Relative to the rest of the pack, probably. That finals was actually hands down the best. IMO DRG vs MMA doesn't cut it, even though jjakji vs leenock didn't make it to the 7th game.

Jjakji vs leenock was definitely jjakji at his best, when he's able to combine the smarts and creativity of hoseo with the mechanical skill off all the other top players he's god like but he's kind of lost his shine the improvement of zergs and them getting a better of understanding of jjakji's styles and have mechanically caught up to him.

jjakji is always so fun to watch. Aggressively commandoing his marines around on creep as if it was a leisurable jog.

Jjakji heavily abused fake pressure during that finals. That's one aspect of Terran play that's almost totally disappeared since the super creep patch. It's hard to see the super mind games again since it has resulted in both sides playing so turtly till BL/infestor.
