Naniwa was our closest.

Ugh, no one I really like left in the pool except Grubby and Ret and they face off next. Come on Grubster, take it home!

They all got knocked out already. Taeja, Jakji, Mvp and MMA didn't play that tournament. Polt and Gumiho didn't play as good as usual. Koren Terrans are doing fine. Its the Zergs that are struggling
Taeja went to MLG arena and skipped qualifiers. Jjakji, MMA got eliminated in the qualifiers. MVP was seeded but lost in round 1 to Polt and forfeited the losers match because he had to go to gamescon to promote for LG( won IRMA while he was there).

Could we please stop the balance whining? It's so tiring and gets in the way of everything constructive in the thread. To summarise what's going on now:
Main stream: Stephano vs Lowely coming up Stream 2: Grubby vs Ret coming up ESC: Bly vs Nerchio coming up
These are all I know

Grubby or Ret? Sadly one of them has to fall.T.T

Too bad koreans are simply better, and ower there terrans do well, Kind of destroys the argument, You could argue that terrans have a harder time playing at top lvl and you therefor need top korean apm and multitasking though, while the slow engame zerg army doesnt require that much. Game is played in other places than Korea and blizzards work needs to reflect that. But since 4 terrans are confirmed now we can go back to 'had it coming' and 'Taeja'. Business as usual. No Blizzard should balance to the highest level and foreign Terrans should have to work harder to get there. I wish that more Koreans would enter foreign tournaments so all these bad and under performing foreigners would have to retire. Yeah because Kas doesn't work hard at the game...... Sigh. Why so much vitriol in your post?
Well, although he stated it in an extreme manner, it's clear there is a gulf of difference between the best Foreign Terrans and the best Korean Terrans. Guys like Stephano and Nerchio appear quite capable of measuring up to the best Korean zergs. Now why this seems to be the case is anyone's guess, but it blatantly can't be down to Terran being too weak/strong
|
Wow great attack by Stephano
|
I can't believe people are still relating various extremes of balance to tournament results of each race. Have you even considered that players lose because they mess up ? Are you familiar with changes in meta-game and how it affects each race?
No. If a race under-performs, then the game MUST be imbalanced. Cry more.

Uh? Technically Jinro.
HuK was tied with Naniwa too.
Foreigner Terrans aren't lazy so much as there are fewer numbers of them training together and whatnot. They get culled in droves.

At least for the lower bracket games it's because Grubby wants to double check some things. He thinks he should play vs Socke and Ret vs Happy.

Lol,I'm not sure if you are trolling or really believe foreign zerg and protoss players are simply more hardworking/talented than foreign terran players..
Anyway it is rubbish.
Game may be balanced at highest level of play but foreign scene tells a lot about race difficulty and judging from that same international scene, terran is the hardest race to get results with.
