I hope they won't let this 4-1 defeat crush they moral but rather take it for motivation!
|
Let's go T8! I want to see a third match (:

FanTaSy vs Jaedong can't wait!!!!

No Jaedong/BaBy in SC2 should be the nail in the coffin.

Getting hyped! I watched PL at the start but then stopped have now catched up on everything and really enjoying it

Are they using the same rules they used for the standard rounds in which a player can't play the same game in two consecutive matches except for ace matches?

I am not filthy.
T1 fans are the most hygienic of all.

Will the grand finals be at a later hour? It's really hard to get Proleague live in Europe.

MMhmmm as soon as I get off work I get home and watch proleague. Perfect timing again and hopefully this time Team 8 just wtf pwns skt next 2 days :D

Sorry. SKT has better players in both Brood War and SC2 (more debatable). Sucks cus I love SKT, but T8 is my second favorite...

Sun has taken over Bisu's spot in the OP lol
|
On September 01 2012 21:33 zerious wrote: No Jaedong/BaBy in SC2 should be the nail in the coffin.
Conversely Sun Fantasy both HAVE to play BW (because they need them for a third set), so it isn't too bad. And if Bisu plays SC2 (which I think he will) that's as close to a free win in PL as you get.
Jaehoon in SC2 isn't bad, but Team 8 has to be considered the underdog, especially since Sun can still be the SC2 Ace.
|
lol It is amazing how much SKT has improved in recent weeks. They barely made it into the post season yet their lineup is looking so scary is both bw and sc2. Gotta root for team8 to pull off the win tonight but I also want Bisu to win his sc2 game. I think Bisu finally got over hill and is rapidly improving as his last two sc2 games showed great improvement.

One thing I'd say helped a lot with SC2 is the return of Boxer. That's not even a joke, even Fantasy said he's learnt so much in such a short period of time from the Emporer <3

OMG GO TEAM 8 YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!
im' freaking out so much >< these games should be so sweet. i really hope that Team8 can do it!
who is playing what games?

SPL's format confuses the shit out of me. Please correct if i'm wrong: BO3 BW, with the winning team getting 1 point BO3 SC2, with the winning team getting 1 point If tied, goes to ace match to decide winner
And then the winner of all of that gets 1 point, and they do the same format the next night, with the winner getting 1 point, and if the two teams are tied after two nights they play another set of matches the 3rd night to determine who advances? thus "bo3 bo7"?
Sorry if that didn't make sense, just trying to understand.

Sorry if that didn't make sense, just trying to understand. Correct. If T8 wins it's 1-1 and decider series and if SKT wins it's 2-0 and they move to next round.

to be honest i first thought that format was a bit too crazy, but then again i like it a lot because it shows real skill! i love proleague and the other kespa formats... im sure they will make sc2 more exciting. also im a bit turned off by the low amount of hype for proleague here.
some people will have to reset their current priorities

wraiths vs lurkers?? how much eco does hero have?
fantasy with a nice lift.
hero with about the same eco as fantasy, 1 base / 1 more not mining.
fantasy with 3 wraiths out, so hero has to get hydras too
so low econ hahahah 5 hydras vs 3 vults and wraiths
2 vults 3 marines and 1 scv vs 3 hydras hahaha
caught up to the present and things are looking good for hero!

It turns out T8 knows cheeses too.

Fantasy in control of this.

Fantasy has 1 base and no units, hero has 1.5 bases + a bunch of hydras
gogogogo team 8!!!!!!
Fantasy completely rebuilt his base at the mineral only 3rd and then secures with 1 bunker and some scvs but hero just has too many hydras and walks up the ramp

Jaedong gging after a failed hydra bust without even attempting to transition is tragic. Usually he'd make a comeback from that position. He was even smiling after the game

T8 fighting! You can do it! Without Jaedong or Baby in the SC2 sets, but still! I believe!
First game is SC2 Bisu, so that's a free win right there, only one more to force the ace!

Obviously the "primary" reason would be the work Bisu put in himself, however that's something that's generally expected of him to do anyway, so it doesn't really count.
Bisu is known as a player that benefits a ton from "direct" forms of coaching (other people working on his builds, strategy etc.), so that he can focus on execution which is where his strengths are.
Having an experienced SC2 player looking over his shoulder is definitely a key difference from the regular season where I imagine he was pretty much on his own and without real guidance. When that experienced SC2 player is Boxer himself, the benefits are even more numerous.
