Baby just played better than MVP, plain and simple.

If MVP scouted that, it was an easy win. He intended to scout it, but didn't quite. MVP is the better player.

Right dude! LOL! Baby didn't even scout MVPs tech in game 1 and still smashed him. What's your excuse now?

stop being so aggressive It's really fucking annoying

obviously Mvp is better than Baby at sc2 overall but Baby played better in this series, that's that.

"Obviously" I just saw MVP get wrecked in two games. So, how does that make him the better player? It was even a mirror match up.

I saw Flash got wrecked by hyuk once.

Never 4get

can someone aware me on that? like how bad is hyuk and how much of a shock was it etc. please.

Even though people always make fun of him, I would rate him as one of the best non-legend zergs in BW history. He is above average for many years.

you're like kidding? he is the definition of SKTzerg, at one point he had something like 5-20 zvt record

hes still 30% zvt right now

Not kidding, that's my opinion, I respect him a lot.

Trap is 11 - 4 in proleague and only second to Sun. And he was the one who eliminated Idra in GomTV Classic Broodwarleague some years ago.

lol, IEM is not really a big tourney...

Yea i dont really understand why people are making a big deal about winning an IEM that had like 5 koreans (MC,NesTea,Yonghwa,MVP, supernova, am i forgetting anyone?) the cash prize was like 6k...

IEM's competition was actually pretty good, Mvp dodged a lot of the better players though. he beat three foreigner zergs from the ro8 to finals. Everyone else in the tournament also lost to these foreigner zergs so I don't think It's to be dismissed.

Supernova, ForGG, MC, Nestea, Oz, couple others maybe.

Also recall that he had to go to Germany and back, especially when he [allegedly] didn't really want to but had to for LG.

I feel sorry for the mods who have to go through the trainwrecks that are these live report threads. People don't even talk about the games anymore. I remember when people just used to be excited and talk about cool games. Now they just bicker with each other.

I thought they were cool games. It seemed like MVP just didn't play as well as baby, was just a little behind all the time and a little indecisive. Baby was all over everything MVP tried and really out thought his opponent in these two games. Kind of a reverse from what we've been seeing up until now which has had KesPA players out mechanicking their opponents.

Yah, I would rank it as a tier 2 tourney below GSL, WCS, MLG, IPL.

where would you rank NASL and Dreamhack? i think those are 2 big turns that should be on your list

I think the most recent IEM was a huge step up in terms of the player pool. It was around MLG-level. Above NASL level I'd say.

Bo1 doesn't really mean much regardless of who wins.

Some players played badly, eSF and Kespa alike, and some people played well.

Mvp does have a spinal condition that makes his wrists lose ability to control his mouse. It's true, but it shouldn't be a factor in a short Bo3.

In Mvp's case, he really is still better. BaBy was better today though, clearly.
