YugiOh does lead the head-to-head 2-0, but those games were month ago. While YugiOh's ZvP is his best matchup, he's 1-1 on Daybreak and is looking less solid recently, especially after his terrible WCS performance. Creator's only played 1 PvP game on Whirlwind, with a win against NaNiwa. However, he should have little to fear from Killer, well known to have a weak PvP matchup. They haven't met before, but Creator should be favoured due to matchup strengths.Creator's PvP winrate on Daybreak is pretty solid, going 9-4. He's lost to AcE, NaNiwa and Squirtle twice, but he's beaten Grubby, Oz, HerO twice, Seed and Choya on that map. Vampire does have a 3-1 record on the same map in PvP, but his wins were against lesser players. Creator leads the head-to-head 2-1 against Vampire.Maps and matchups aside, Creator comes into the Up/Downs with insane momentum. Having just won WCS Korea by defeating Squirtle 4-1 in the finals and playing undefeated in TSL4 so far, he'll be looking to further cement his reputation as a top Protoss by making it back into Code S and having another run at a Premier tournament. He may have negative head-to-heads against some of the players and will be playing on a map he's bad at, but history is history and Creator will look to erase bad records with more wins. A lot of the 'thing' concerning Killer's PvP was not necessarily the stats (which were and to some extent are still bad) but how many times he gifted HuK victories and advancements. Which was both sad, amusing and very welcome to foreign fans. | ||

I thought NesTea got the first possible NesTea award since he's been in EVERY Code S? Lol, even if Supernova got it first it'd still be called the NesTea award! GOM probably already has awards for winning 10 GSLs called the NesTea Gold Award | ||

On a related note, I was starting to believe that Creator would be hit with the 'Oz curse' whereby anyone proclaiming they are good at PvP will be struck down (presumably by the gods of unpredictability and randomness) and made to suffer for their claim. When Creator finally said the same in one of his interviews after having said things about build orders and such before, he lost the first match he played after that to Squirtle in the semi-finals of WCS. However, unlike Oz he did not suffer for what seems to have been forever. I guess his previous offerings to said deities paid off; he was only punished for a match and went on his merry way to crush Parting and then getting revenge on Squirtle to win the tournament. Of course, you could say that the whole thing is silly and that no such thing as what I would aptly (if I do say so myself) name the confidence curse exists. However I much prefer to think that it does. | ||
