Mana was one people I thought wouldn't have stood a chance in the up and downs, was hoping his seed woulda gone to someone else (no hate to Mana, I've been a fan since wwaayy before he did anything noteable in sc2), but waking up and looking at the results, that's amazing. Grats man! Naama vs Mana at Dreamhack was one of the things that made me fall in love with Starcraft as a spectator sport. It made me an immediate fan, and I'll never doubt either of them. In my eyes, Naama can take down WCS Europe and Mana can tear up Code S ![]() Maybe not rational, maybe not even connected to reality, but that's what makes me a fan.

![]() Marcus Eklöf @EGThorZaIN I will unfortunately forfeit my GSL up & down spot due to a couple of reasons and focus completely on WCS European Finals instead. GL to you Thorzain, sad to see you forfeit, hope you'll feel better.

Normally you have to qualify for code a, then pass the first round and then you get a show in the up & downs. But Mana got a free seed. The up & downs itself are more a slugfest than a skillfestival. Here you see the most dirty and scrappy play, but it's allright because everyone just wants to win. It's quite entertaining. :-)

Mana was then 2 - 1 in his group, however, jjakji was 0 - 3 So if Jjakji had defeated Mana he would still be only 1 - 3, lower than the rest. Mana would be 2 -2 then like Keen and Hyun, however Mana defeated both already, so wins the head to head and would move on regardless. Just how the group worked out for him.
