Possible Idra vs TriMaster rematch incoming :3

What matters is results, and Seed has more of them. No, what matter is current form, and not old irrelevant results. Only recent results really matters. Seed's GSL win is about as recent as Taeja's ROG win. Funny how in SC2 things that happen yesterday don't matter anymore. Well yea true, I was more thinking of mvp's GSL win than seed's when saying that.

HuK made it to the championship brackets, facing Illusion, then if he wins that, Hawk. Then, winner of Idra vs Trimaster/Hwangsin. Then, Heart who is inconsistent. He has a pathway to a decent run.

You actually can't disagree with that HINT: Remember HSCV? Hint: remember IPL finals? Seed crushed Taeja. Hint: remember TSL4. IMFirst crushed Taeja. Hint: remember earlier today. Crank crushed Taeja. All I am saying is that Taeja isn't the best player in the world. And he has NEVER EVER been better than MVP. wtf? I looked over all my posts that you've quoted and I've never seen me saying he has ever been the best player in the world. I really don't understand. Do you people not look at the most current head-to-head matches for determining who's better or something? No. One weekend doesn't make a better player. Not even a few month. There is NO one who can compare with the breadth and depth of MVP's results. So when Taeja wins a few GSLs, and perhaps a full MLG (which may or may not happen today) and then actually qualifies for WCG, then we can start having this discussion again.
So Kobe Bryant is better than Lebron James yes?

Not taking away any credit from his brilliant mechanics but I feel he's playing a constant gamble. His information when playing is as much as you can get really, but the way he puts aggression on the Protoss is basically nothing but him being in the head of his opponent.
Are 5 marines going to post a threat to a nexus first Protoss? Not really, no. You should be afraid he is not going to chronoboost his 2 gateways or even worse, going to go 4 or 5 gate p ressure after his initial nexus. I really feel against some Protoss on the ladder this style would just not work out as good. Ofcourse his superior mechanics would carry him, but as you could see in for example TSL against Bischu on Metropolis, sometimes a gamble really doesn't pay off.
I feel like TaeJa basically already won the game because he is TaeJa. He worked hard for this psychological advantage, but there is absolutely no reason to be afraid in the early game more than against another Terran. Ofcourse his execution of builds is better, but even TaeJa can't make 5 marines worth 20. Also in the bigger battles, I think he's winning by excellent control. Its absolutely amazing how he focus fires and moves parts of his army, knowing absolutely how units will react and fire by heart, absolute beautiful to watch.
Good analysis, I think this mental play you are describing (getting into the head of the opponent) is what sets the champions apart from mere contenders, it's like the final edge that puts him apart in addition to his superb mechanics.
Edit: I'd love to see a tournament / league where the player is 'hidden'. Everyone is just playing by the name of his race so its either Protoss, Zerg or Terran and I think this would result in very different games compared to MC vs TaeJa etc. Also a Protoss vs "TERRAN" instead of a name would possibly result in other games. Would be very interesting to create a study around that.
