I still don't see how 2 players can meet 3 times.

Ah right, i forgot about the clean slate feature, and somehow thought it would only apply when coming from OB. Cheers!

Stephano / Heart already met twice already, and in theory can meet again if they get far in the champ bracket. But i realise now that it wouldnt matter indeed.

You don't get elimination in the "group" brackets, it's just for seeding. You can meet twice there and meet once more in the champ bracket.

They are not streaming it, we need both streams on Alicia vs Alive apparently.

I'm not a huge fan of Alive (he's a pre-patch Terran, hurr hurr), but that was a neat play.

Boring? He does sick drops/multitasking and isn't afraid to cheese either. A lot more exciting than a lot of other players.

MLG's choices of what games to stream have been utterly pathetic this tournament. Really really disappointing. :/

MLG logic in full effect.
Stream choices have been really strange this time around.

What the hell happened... You realize this now? -_- he went from one of my favorite casters to one of my least favorite casters. When I first started watching sc2 events "Fuck Yes Day9 is casting" Now when I watch an event "Fuck Day9 casting" he's actually not that bad. Yeah, the day9 hate really doesn't make much sense, I think people just listen to too many of his casts and just get tired from hearing the same day9 tone/voice so much that they get tired of it the same way anyone gets tired of anything after experiencing it for so long, and then they make up faulty rationalizations for this sentiment (when, for example, they were completely clueless/new to SC2 when they first started watching sc2, so they mistakenly believe that Day9 does not offer any information now when the truth is that they simply didn't know as much information back then so they believed day9 to offer more than he actually did in the past). Eh, I'd like to think I'm not very biased. But, analytically compared to Artosis he knows nothing. Then when you listen to players like Hasuobs and Grubby cast the comparison is just insulting to them. Play by play he's decent I guess, but Violet vs STC on Metropolis was perfect example of why I'm not fond of him: "OH MY GOD 5 MINUTE 3rd BASE BY VIOLET!!!" *he literally screamed this at the top of his lungs* Really day 9? Also, I just think his brother is much funnier and clever (but that part is biased I'll admit) Yep to be honest i would like more pro-players casting. The problem is if they start to cast, and don't practice/play anymore they lose their analysis.
I somewhat have to disagree with this statement. I believe that there is still plenty of casters perfectly capable of doing very good analysis of the games, such as Artosis, Apollo and Rotterdam. I think the reason that people are not as fond of Day9 as they used to be, is because it seems that he is getting overly excited about even the slightest deviation from the norm, as xrapture already pointed out.
Today it has almost been like when he casted those HotS Battle Reports with Rob Simpson, where it appeared that >1000 floating minerals as Terran was "impeccable macro" from a high level Terran...
Regardless of this unfortunate tendency i still believe that Day9 is one of the most important community figures in eSports, but i really hope that tone his excitement down a notch!
