The first series being pvp should be favorable for him.

Not really. His opponent is Light, the best Protoss in SEA. He's taken games off players such as ST.Ace. VERY TOUGH for Legionnaire.

The sound levels/quality is what causes it. Where the required volume for normal talking is too loud for screaming. There's sound issues regularly at live SC2 events.

Legionnaire with 1k/1k unspent and 100 supply when the big battle happens.
It he was on top of his macro it was an easy win.

Light timed that attack right before Legionnaire's 1/1 finished. Perfectly timed.

Hey people!
I played pretty bad in those games, i just kept supply blocking myself a lot. First game immortal wouldn't build because of it, 2nd game the third colossus, and then more units.
As someone said, going up the ramp was a poor choice.
Light played well, i played bad. The better player definately advanced.
Its been a fun event, and Blizzard and ACLPro have done a fantastic job here. Hopefully we'll see some fun games over the next few days.
I really like how they had every single player at the event, to have at least 1 game in the booths. It might not have been as good for the stream (there were some awesome games that didn't get cast) but its great for experience for the players here, and a bit of fun.
Congrats to the players, and i can now sit back and watch some nice games of SC

Unfortunately Twitch servers are not very good for Australians
The 720p+ quality is ours, everything else is run by Twitch.
Thanks for your support and constructive criticism guys, this is our first WCS and we are very much looking to improve.

Cheers for the ones saying that sound was ok at 720+.
Though it was quite amusing listening to the 30 seconds behind action type of commentary. Gave me the chance to try to predict what HD and Painuser would be saying when the caught up with the play, created a fantastic little mini-game for my insomniac mind.

it's nearing midnight in aus and i have a feeling the place kicks them out at 12, so they have 15 mins to pack up haha, so no wrapup

Wp by Pig. Moonglade made a bunch of bad decisions

Wow that really has to suck for Pig. He didn't get interview nor a ceremony. Wonder if he even got the trophy... So bad.. But great finals nontheless.
|
Haha, did PiG really go through the whole thing only playing ZvZ? xD

A sleepless day for those finals? yah, they were pretty entertaining.I learned some things watching it. -ZvZ wow the flare for possibility. -variation on builds :-) -lack of respect for the casting ambiance
mostly watched muted. heard an excessive amount of "Man" for one day. humor to sigh for I understood the irwin context, but i think its presentation really fell through. the birthday gift was Kingly indeed. I hope that nexus is in shambles. nom nom nom congrats . some great emotions today. Lots of laughs.

That feeling was felt across the world ;*(

As a member of the crowd, myself and most of the people around me are enjoying Painuser/HD. Just don't take everything super serious and enjoy the event for what it is, instead of picking apart every sentence they say in hours of commentary.

Such a great tournament, never watched a whole tournament all day like that in a while. Organizers, Blizzard, and all the players did so well!

like cutting him off after an analytical point "so anyway guys we have ... -insert inane comment-"
on topic - grats pig! pretty sure the australian champion is the most handsome of the sc2 champs right now. christ what a handsome s.o.b.. looks like clark kent.

I do hope the venue next year has more room than 300, i'd actually like to get in before tickets instantly sell out .

For those wondering why the broadcast ended so abruptly after the finals, the venue required us to have the entire floor vacant at midnight - and it was 11:50PM. We'll have a big/proper awards/closing ceremony for WCS Oceania, which will commence in approximately 2-3 hours.

But why is hd/pain casting the finals and not tastosis? Tastosis are primarily doing WCS Oceania.

Yay!

Why is this not on the frontpage of TL? Great job TL writers...
