What you guys don't seem to understand, despite numerous interview answers telling you this, is that the Kespa players are still busy playing SC1!! No transition has occurred yet. The Kespa players are just fking winging it. Most of the teams don't even have SC2 coaches in their houses yet and barely play the game. Reality won while spending all his time helping his teammate train for the OSL finals. He himself stated he's barely played or improved since his prelim match. what you're missing is that a lot of SC1 teams have switched training to 80% SC2, and that BEFORE the prelims Reality practiced his butt of at SC2. You make it seem as if SC1 and SC2 are of equal priority to most Kespa teams, but if I remember correctly only the sadly departed Air Force Ace actually had their main focus on BW after the dual league was announced. So, are you saying that the 20% of the time most of the Kespa players spend playing BW and training for it still is responsible for the difference between getting beaten at almost equal footing and completely dominating the GOM players? I find that hard to believe.

In it Coach Park says SKT1 is spending 80% of their practice time on SC2. Jaedong says he had been practicing SC2 for "almost two months", which means he probably started practicing at some point in April, which is about the time Bisu states in his interview. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=339200 Obviously this is extrapolation, but it seems reasonable to assume most other players/teams have also been focusing the vast majority of their attention on SC2 for about four months now. Edit: There's also an Flash interview posted around the same time where he says he was focusing 100% on practicing SC2, but would probably spend some time practicing BW later for Proleague. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=336791

Sad for DRG. He's still on tilt from his heartbreaking losses. Hope he can get back to his usual play soon, cause he's been playing pretty bad lately.

Still takes time to get used to all the meta. Do I think all of the Kespa players are going to dominate no. I still think people don't give credit to some of the Kespa players. They haven't had as much experience at the tournament level with Starcraft II. Yes you can play lots of ladder games but that doesn't translate to tournaments. Reality now has beaten Shine, Symbol, Heart, and Yugioh. That is a pretty good track record. Now can he beat Puzzle? Not sure about that. In his interview he said "his protoss is noob."

The point of that miserable piece of shit article was that "competition thus far in SC2 is a FARCE" and "there are hundreds of people who would DOMINATE the scene immediately after they switch" which time and time again has been proven wrong. For the current champs, who were duds in BW, somehow SC2 worked for them, BW did not. They aren't inherently better or worse. Oh how I hate that crap article for creating this divide in the community... it wasn't supposed to be like this

Did the writer of the article really not put into consideration the potential for the SC2 players to get better...it's not like they wouldn't improve.
