This match has the potential to be the only KESPA upset. 1st round of a bracket style tournament with yugioh? yugioh doesnt lose xD He'll just pretend it's Code A round 1.
Creator 2-0 DRG. I believe.

Someone's a bit too keen, especially before he even played DRG. Shoulda saved it for when/if he wins. lol it's from the prime website, in one huge pic so i cbb cropping lol

It wouldn't be surprising at all to see almost every Protoss advance from the first round. In every match but 3, it looks like the Toss is the favorite.
Curious vs. Rain - Rain the clear underdog, and got 2-0'd, as expected.
Tails vs. Happy - Both players are considered pretty mediocre at this point (Tails still isn't quite "there", and Happy has been slumping for a while), and it showed, with Tails taking out Happy in a rather ugly 2-1 series.
Creator vs. DRG - Could go either way. DRG has far more achievements, but Creator is 2-0 against DRG head to head according to TLPD. Considering that, and how DRG still doesn't look like his old self yet, Creator has a good chance of winning.
The rest of theToss players are the favorites in their matches IMO.
Seed vs. Coca - Both strong players, but Seed is a Code S Champion and CoCa seems to only be doing well in team leagues at the moment. Not a surprising result.
Parting vs. sC - Also not a surprising result given that Parting is a Code S-level PvT specialist while sC, while pretty strong, has been plagued by health problems and has just never really returned to his old glory from around a year ago.
HerO vs. Effort - GOM vs. Kespa. Kespa players just haven't had much time to practice SC2 yet relative to how long the GOM players have been playing, no further explanation needed.
Genius vs. Dreamertt - No explanation needed.
Squirtle vs. Bboongbboong - Also no explanation needed. Bboongbboong is fairly good, but Squirtle is easily a top 3 Protoss.
MC vs. Leenock - Leenock has been looking great lately, but I don't think anyone would disagree that MC is the favorite here.

But I thought he just qualified for tournaments - by that logic he's going to drop out of the first round no matter what.

i hope both hero and hero[ join] loses or win together,so the doppelganger factor is complete, as for the games itself i think drg, hero, puzzle, yugioh, but will be happy regardless if the other 4 win.

oh shit that first match is gonna be something

if you have the GSTL and GSL year passes though -> you can get HD stream for free if you only have one -> $5 if you have neither -> $15
$15 for three solid weeks of games (sixteen days) of some of the best players isn't that bad a deal ;D

Let's go Reality and Effort!!!!!
Hoping but realistically am ready to be disappointed.
|
I might be wrong but the 240p from the Twitch gom stream seems lower to me than the free SD stream on the gom homepage, which seems like 360p (or atleast inbetween the two).
Also i think both Effort and Reality have chances, and PvP is random enough so that Hero[join] can win too. I think at least one of them is gonna get through.
