When a player wins prize money that goes to the player. I don't believe in taking the prize money of their individual winnings. I'm not opposed to teams doing it to take away the variance and risk when they are trying to invest and build a team, but I don't think it should be a long term revenue source. Luckily we don't need to do it. Our revenue is based on sponsors and apparel sales. Also, how are these things arranged, is Taeja on call in Korea, ready to play at a moments notice i presume, maybe on Skype or in channel watching the teams games live? ... For IPLTAC everything is played at once so we're all there in a Skype call. In NASTL and EGMC each player has their match planned individually at a time where it fits best. Suit jacket, at least. In the long run the best captains will be retired players. Unfortunately that's not really realistic for the non-Korean scene right now. It's one thing to just add a 20th guy to a house, but it's another to fund a persons life.

And a related question would be if you picked up a player would it be someone you're looking at like a Hero or Taeja type, a younger player that just hasn't gotten the chance to be the best he can be, or is on their way to be great? Or would you consider an already established skilled free agent, like a Violet, or Morrow? Or even a player that has been relevant in the past but has kind of fallen off, like an Inca or Top? Thanks! Keep up the amazing work!

Maybe a better question is, how do you think people view Koreans on Foreign teams? When DRG was all-killing every team imaginable in the GSTL he was the scariest player on the planet. I remember when Nony heard he was coming to MLG his reaction on SotG was "No, anyone but him!" (I'm paraphrasing). However, when Taeja does the same thing in a smaller league, and has been winning literally everything besides that, there isn't that same fear surrounding him. What I'm asking is do you think Taeja would be getting more respect if he was still on SlayerS?

It was rather strange that when Ganzi and Taeja both left and openly said they were leaving and looking for other opportunities, namely joining foreign teams, that Ganzi was largely touted as the hot pick up. I mean, Ganzi definitely was a hot pick up, but it is strange indeed that no other team seriously wanted Taeja and made decisive moves towards making that happen. Personally I thought that there would be a pretty major interest in Taeja from behind the scenes leading up to him signing for Liquid.

Best Zerg player in the world in general and in an open format? Who else is in the mix for best player in the world? Best Protoss still goes to MC hands down. For Zerg I like Life/Symbol/DRG. DRG, MVP, MKP, MC, TaeJa. I like consistent results for such a big title. On August 01 2012 12:50 Stopher wrote: @Liquid'Nazgul, how will you and your team prepare for IM? Are you guys working more closely together for this or is everyone still doing their own thing like normal? I can't wait for a new team photo with everyone! (Will you debut the rumored new jerseys?) Thanks a millions! I imagine IM will specifically put some guys on TaeJa and/or HerO but we can't do the same. We'll have some guys dedicated to certain matchups and maps, and some others will have to have a more allround preparation. We'll go over replays and VODs. No shirts.

Currently you have Tyler and Hero as your only Toss, and Jinro and Taeja as your only Terrans. And with Jinro and Tyler both not playing as well as fans would like your non-Zerg roster looks thin in terms of numbers. If you picked up another player would they have to be a NON zerg? And a related question would be if you picked up a player would it be someone you're looking at like a Hero or Taeja type, a younger player that just hasn't gotten the chance to be the best he can be, or is on their way to be great? Keep up the amazing work! I don't like to limit myself too much with all these factors, but I can say that picking up a Zerg at a level of our other Zergs does not make much sense at this point. Besides that, we're pretty open. I'm not desperate to add another player and I don't think doing so leads to the best pickups. If something comes along we will consider it. I feel like being on a non-Korean team definitely has a lot of benefits, but I'm not sure if fear is one of them. Hard to believe he wasn't a highly sought after pick when he was a free-agent, liquid is laughing while everyone else is face palming right now I bet.
