$10 just for joining this Masters Cup!!

One lucky participant shall receive $10! While not a massive prize, its a free pizza, or a couple beers, etc, just for playing some sc2! Even if you are eliminated early be sure to stick around, watch the high quality games, and listen out for who will win (It may well be you!). Purpose of this is to encourage player participation, and offer a small reward for those who fail to place, as every game is of a high level. Depending upon future donations/sponsorship this may continue or be replaced by some other sort of prize, eg hardware. It shall be trialed this Masters Cup, as always, feedback welcomed. The prize draw shall be done live on stream using http://www.random.org/. If the number generated, matches your randomly seeded number on challonge.com, you're the winner! (Except if you no showed and got walked over in the early rounds, then we'll redraw, as it is designed to reward participants)

This Masters Cup is for SEA residents only. There will be an open event in 2 months, on September 23, where non SEA players are welcome to join.

Tournament Eligibility:
Masters League or Grand Masters League (ONLY in 1v1 SEA License) Lower players will be disqualified.
Prizes: Winner gets the $100 prize and bragging rights for being the best of the best. $35 for 2nd, $20 to 3rd - *Prize pool may increase
There is also a lucky draw prize! One lucky person shall get $10 just for joining!

Map Pool

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:

Ro128: GSL Daybreak (B01 no 2nd game) (R2 on bracket)
Ro64: WCS Cloud Kingdom (B01 no 2nd game) (R3 on bracket)
Ro32: ESV Korhal Compound (B03) (R4 on bracket)
Ro16: GSL Metropolis (B03) (R5 on bracket)
Ro8: WCS Ohana (B03) (R6 on bracket)
Semi-Finals: GSL Bel'shir beach (winter version) (B03)
Finals: WCS Anitga Shipyard (B05)
(3rd Place Match WCS Anitga Shipyard, B03)

Loser can pick from any the following maps:
WCS Cloud Kingdom, WCS Shakuras Plateau, GSL Daybreak, Tal'Darim Altar LE, ESV Korhal Compound, GSL Metropolis, WCS Ohana, WCS Anitga Shipyard, GSL Bel'shir beach (winter version)

* Players are allowed 1 veto each per round. 2 vetos are allowed in the B05 final. First game cannot be vetoed.

Signups close at 5pm AEDT/3pm SG on Sun 29 July, brackets to be posted on challonge.com shortly after.
