The IPL event killerdog is referring to is IPL4 in April I think
I've followed HD's Youtube for a while (About a year now, I started watching Sc2 around the start of IPL 2 and the first video I favorited on my YouTube was a game casted by HD afaik) and during IPL 4, HD tried to cast the event with a personality that he doesn't have when he casts game for his YouTube channel. And during the event, there was something about the HD + PU chemistry that didn't quite work out.

I really hope Painuser and HD have improved their game and general player knowledge (although they prolly won't know much about SEA players).
Their casting at IPL 4 was atrocious, where they had very little game knowledge and no player knowledge at all.
If their casting is exactly the same I forsee stream numbers dropping severely whenever they're up.

I was wondering what happened to HD/Painuser. I know painuser has been streaming. But it seems they are not working for IPL full time anymore. Which is cool and all I really like Doa/cats combo. Glad they are casting i thought they had a good combo.

Should be a fun event. It will be good to see artosis and tasteless again.
I am definately not going to win, unlikely that i will even make it through to the Oceanic event. If i can destroy 1-2 ppls dreams, then its a job well done
I started playing after they announced this tournament, as there was going to be a qualifier in my city, so i thought i'd turn up and say hi to everyone. It was a surprise to qualify.
Some very good players in Aus who play all day, which i can no longer do.
To clear a few things up, I believe i was the third? player to get an all kill. First protoss. First foreigner.
This definately sounds like the largest ever e-sports event Australia has had.

My guess is that they're doing other work for IPL/IGN now instead of casting on full time.

You can get flights on Jetstar for ~$160 atm. Fly up first thing Saturday morning and come back early on Monday.
Driving wont be much cheaper if you need to pay for an extra nights accommodation and you get the benefit of not spending 20 hours in a car!
Shiiiitttttt I want to go so baldly but doubt I will be able to get work off that weekend...
