Duh, that's because NFL is the ONLY notable American Football tournament in the WORLD, so anyone who watches it will watch. Football is played globally as opposed to in 1 country, and since the Superbowl is the pinnacle of American Football you're far better off comparing it to the pinnacle of football, namely the World Cup final. Which has a bazillion more viewers than the Superbowl. | ||

But you do not have continental and world championships in american football, you do have it of european football and i am pretty sure its bigger because many europeans, asians, africans and south americas watch the world championship. | ||
