HuK is seen as our little hometown hero in a sense, and I suppose he is anticipated and loved by Canada because he was one of the few foreigners who could compete with Koreans at one time.

Please tell me why, Im dying to hear it.
This is not a balance post but Zerg is the easiest race to master at the highest level. It's just the way the race works.
Is this even true? I can think of plenty top foreigner protoss and a couple of T.
What top foreigners T? Kas, beastyqt, lucifron? They're not on par with mana, nerchio stephano, huk. Ok thorzain won, a DH but that's all fro foreigner T entire SC2 history I think.
Naama won a dreamhack
Ok another DH for terrans, & also 2 ro4 for jinro in GSL if I'm not mistaking. Terran is the race which depends a lot more from army control, Korean T are always bringing it to a new level, I'm fine with the current balance, I want to see how far the Korean terrans can go to improve it. Byun for exemple seems to have figured out TvP atm. I think he will win GSL if MC takes DRG out.

Mostly said it because of P, with players like naniwa doing pretty awesome. But I said couple because of Thorzain and there always seems to be one other doing OKish like DeMuslim QxC or someone (neither of those at the moment, granted).
As much as I like PvZ to watch, it sickens me by now. I've seen so much of it now... and it really isn't all that different no matter what style you choose. With Terrans I feel like you have lots of different styles and reaction in play, with P/Z ... not really.
I really do prefer PvP and ZvZ right now besides the very high level PvZ. With just 2 races represented at a tournament it takes away so much exitement. I know PuMa was there but he looked underwhelming. No balance whine, but I hope there will be tournaments with more Terrans soon enough (again).

Stepahno would crush ret
No.. no he wouldnt. MC is the favorite but literally any of these people left COULD win.

On one hand, Stephano is better than Ret overall, and has a stronger mentality. On the other, his ZvZ has been historically bad, while Ret's ZvZ is supposed to be good.
