In all recent tournaments terrans are less and less represented. There are no new terran players joining the pro scene, and we see terran less and less on a higher level (ro16/ro8). There are also pros switching away from terran. Do you think it is preferable that on a tournament level the game is slowly turning into a 2 race game? For me, terran is just most fun to watch. They simply have to do more than the other races to be effective, like drops in multiple locations, continuous marine micro, it is just fun to see. What is the most complex thing you see from a ZvP? Durp, ling runby into the protoss natural while sitting back on creep...Or the infamous lets sit behind 10 spines while making infestor/broodlord. It is so static, boring, and passive that it is no fun to watch. | ||

You have to learn again all your matchups, the timings, your opponent timings, the exceptions and how to answer to particular opponents' style with your new race. Mvp plays zerg incredibly well, I've seen it on the IM stream channel. Still, it's not his race, it's not where he puts all of his efforts. Also you don't want to rust because after a patch it would mean starting everything once again. Example: most of the zergs complained about balance issues in the past ZvT. If someone would have switched now they would all suicide since a. No wins after the switch since they have to re-learn everything b. the day you finally have done it, patch comes. | ||

Ok point taken, I still feel this tournament I wouldn't have fancied any of terrans to win because they're not good enough. Aside from Mvp but he didn't show. | ||
