HE DIDN'T MICRO AT ALL in the final engagement. i dont think anyone can micro the slowest unit in the game vs like a 2.8 speed projectile..best i can see is just to have the BL naturally split before it happened. Stephano has decent micro I suppose, so does DRG, but no one really sticks out for things like unit retention. If you watch almost any PvZ the zerg throws away dozens of units for nothing---bad rally points, bad positioning, indecision, etc. Zergs throw away zerglings, and roachs which are like nothing to them. I doubt zergs try to do just lose BL/infestors on purpose. Also infestors are kind of slow also so they get picked off when zergs try to retreat with them. That's a silly mentality though. Those 15 roaches lost for literally nothing could've been another almost fully saturated base, which is a big thing at the highest level. Or infestor tech. It may seem like nothing but it could still give a good advantage. I doubt there is any time where zerg try to lose just 15 roachs, but instead a FF just sections some off so they get destroyed or they try to snipe a expo etc.They try to at least do something with them. Also there is no way that zergs dont even try to protect their tech, but maybe like 4 dts or a bunch of zealots just snipe off the greater spire or spawning pool or infestation pit really fast. You'd be surprised. I remember Stephano just wandering roaches in the middle of the map versus MC, literally doing nothing with them, and he just kept picking them off with phoenix. He wasn't trying to snipe some probes or anything, just was throwing away units. A lot of (at least seemingly) random posturing from zerg often leads to things just getting sniped off with blink and things like that. sounds like he was trying to keep map control. Also what should a zerg do when just roachs are running away from blink stalkers, and the stalkers just keep picking off the roachs with blink? All you can do is just retreat or have infestors out already to stop it. Stephano could have tried to end the game with the reinforcement roachs with his like 14 min roach max or something..i forgot the time the max is.
he starts attacking at like 11.5 mins before he is maxed, he is normally maxed before the 13 minute mark.
Edit: at least i believe so. MC does a sentry/immortal quick third build, and thats when i thought stephano started to hit his third. It all depends on how much aggression stephano faces early game though

If you watch the TSL4 games with VortiX playing you wouldn't say that. The nydus play impressed me a lot. Everyone loved the ZvZ games.. Don't get me wrong i LOVE aggressive play and harassment/drops all over while attacking the front/expos.

They showed everything from A since they didn't need to play Idra vs Happy.

I've never said it's an automatic "passive matchup" i just say that TvT is a turtle fest where you get a good defend of your base and build up a good comp. I know many terran players do like to drop heavily against other terrans but i find ZvZ more aggressive than TvT atm. I never said TvT was not aggressive enough to be entertaining to watch.

I disagree, and quite honestly it seems more like you're trolling than genuine, that or you don't watch many TvTs. I've seen a lot of ZvZs and I've casted a fuck ton specifically for TSL4 and I think the difference is startling.
