The top 4 players by wins and mapscore of the first group stage were put in groups A through D in alphabetical order: A:  IdrAB:  SaSeC: SleepD: YongHwaNext the other four top 1 finishers of the first group stage randomly drew their groups: A: IdrA /  HappyB: SaSe / NerchioC: Sleep / MCD: YongHwa / MvpNext all of the second place finishers of the first group stage randomly drew their groups, drawing again whenever they drew a group with a player they had played before in the first group stage: A: IdrA / Happy / Golden / HasuObs B: SaSe / Nerchio / BlinG / SnuteC: Sleep / MC / DIMAGA / sLivkoD: YongHwa / Mvp / Ret / NaamaFinally, as a special perk, the top 4 players by wins and mapscore of the first group stage got to switch themselves with someone from another group or stay in their group.
