They get to see who the other team is sending out so you can snipe them

They get to see the players their opponents picks first and they choose the starting maps.

Hm, not sure about the starting map thing. At least, if we did get to choose the starting map we had to choose it before the other team picked the lineup I think? I definitely didn't choose Antiga Shipyard as the starting map against Alive anyways.

You sort of spoiled that the game goes to a fourth set. Thanks for the information though.

Starting maps and lineups were set before any of the matches were played.

Have you not followed EG MCSL at all? All 4 series are always played no matter what.
Of course this is the finals so maybe that could be different, but I doubt this will start off with a 3-0 anyway. But since these are replays and the games were probably played in no specific order I don't see why they wouldn't just go ahead and show all the games even if it were a 3-0.

while true, that was for points. there is no need for all 4 to be played right now.

That's for the group state to determine points, no need for that here.

yea but casted live from the replays. Safest way with money on the line to prevent any kind of cheating and plus since its all online and cross servers if you add in observers to cast it live you could risk heavy lag spikes during the game.
