It's funny how a few months really changes things. Just a few months ago, that matchup should have been almost a given for Oz, with his great PvP and Killer's lackluster PvP. Now I'm not so sure anymore

Sucks to have only 3 good players there, but at least they got two shot at it if they miss.

Finals are supposed to be finals, they're supposed to be fair. Who cares about one team having lost a series and the other team not having lost a previous series? These advantages make finals much less meaningful as a display of skill.

It's not fair to Complexity if they had no advantage either though. If Fnatic wins, they end up 1-1 in matchs in the playoffs, yet Fnatic is the champion and coL is 2nd. coL hasn't lost a series in the playoffs yet, while Fnatic has.

If this system wasn't in place Complexity would have already won the tournament. It blows my mind that people don't understand double elimination or are actually idiotic enough to think it's unfair. Everyone gets two opportunities to lose in the tournament, everyone gets the same opportunity, that's entirely fair. The Master's Cup tries to make it a more equal final by removing the advantage that the winner's bracket finalist earned by not losing and you're STILL complaining. The fair alternative to this is simple single elimination, if you want single elimination that's fine, but Complexity having an advantage here is not unfair.

The better finals are the single elimination tournaments one, but then it make it so fan favorites sometimes don't go far in the tournament. Edit: Uh. Don't know what's the advantage in this tournament though.
