Yes, losing one best of 3 in a matchup notorious for volatile early game 1-2 definitely calls for sending a player home. I think the main problem is that MMA is expected to be a TvT expert and beat Ganzi, when he ended up losing in some pretty embarrasing fashion. I do agree that MMA just might need to take a break from the scene a bit, and just rest, because he is slumping quite hard recently. First of all, he's the TvZ expert, not TvT. Second, Ganzi is a Code S level player, it's not actually that surprising that he won. Third, 2-1 is not embarassing fashion. Fourth, what in the fuck are you talking about. You don't send players home after they lose one series... Actually Ganzi is not a Code s level player anymore he is in really bad shape. His last 2 tournaments he went dead last in his groups. Redbull lan 0-3: losing to Stephano,Illusion and Violet. MLG Anahaim. went 0-5 losing well to everyone Ganzi is not very good atm but then again niether is MMA since he lost his strategy coach Doing badly in a couple tournaments doesn't mean your skill level has deteriorated by eons. You still have all the same aspects of skill that you previously had, a few results don't negate that.... ever. and if mma's not very good atm how'd he do this http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/StarsWar_7/Korean_Qualifier

He's recently been dominating online cups and qualifiers against a Korean playerbase, tbh I don't have time right now to figure out which events I'm trying to reference but he's been doing quite well recently.
