Exactly. That build is meant to get +2 blink and take a 3rd and then get immortals and +3. He puts an observer outside the bases between the 2nd and 3rd and creates an impenetrable defense. When he was forced to cancel twice he was forced to make a 2 base push and made the warp prism from his robo over the normal immortals.

Still funny to see people in this thread blindly cry about 2 base and those sorts of things. Just shows who actually understands the game and who doesn't.

Still shouldn't have fooled Symbol, didn't fool me for one second, shouldn't have fooled a code S level zerg, protoss can't just take a third at that point and hope it works.

no. Squirtle didnt plan on a 2base timing in the last game, did you miss the early 3rd? he was forced to adapt to the situation and simply outplayed symbol when it mattered.

Nooooo it really is a 3 base no pressure build. Go check out his game on Daybreak vs. Losira in the last KR TSL4 qualifier. SAME exact build, exact Squirtle's 3rd didn't get shut down. Squirtle defended his 3 bases no sweat with this build.

Could you elaberate on what follow up is once you secure the third with his build if he had done it right because I have never seen a build like that transition into an expo?

The replay of the game I mentioned is available. Once the 3rd is up you can defend any aggression because you are pumping out tons of blink stalkers and you already have sentries from the early game. You pump out immortals from a robo and get +3 and throw an observer outside your bases between the 2nd and 3rd so that you always know where the zerg is attacking from. Thanks to blink you can actually split up your forces and have the of the entrances defended properly. Once all aggression is defended you just hit the right timing and win.

and? Only 4 zergs in ro16 Code S and one already got eliminated and Symbol just went to losers match. First night of Code A zergs went 0-4. Zergs are still the worst race in GSL.
