Mvp: Since I just won my 4th GSL, winning the 5th one this early will lose its value, and that is why I want to rest for this season.
▼ When you start playing, you become a different player?
Mvp: During practices, I tend to lose a lot of my games. So when I come into the booths to play, I always have the mindset that I'm going to lose. I always try to clear my mind before playing my games, and that is why I think it goes well.
▼ Are you going to pick an easy opponent or a challenging one?
Mvp: I'm not going to pick any Zergs. I think that alone shows that I'll be taking it easy.
▼ When playing against IM teammates, you seem to have the best win percentage right?
Mvp: For some strange reason, playing against teammates always seem to go easily for me
▼ Do you smack talk with your teammates a lot?
Mvp: I tend to do that only during in game chats. (laughs) Are there any Terran users who would like to face me?
NesTea: I don't think he'll pick me. Right now, Zergs are really strong. I kept losing to Mvp in the past, but nowadays I think I'll be fine.
▼ What is your estimate for how long the games will be?
NesTea: Well, I guess around ten minutes would be good....
Mvp: NesTea provoked me quite heavily just now, but I think I'll pass.
TheStC: NaNiwa wants to play a Terran. If you want Terrans please consider NaNiwa.... (I believe StC is saying "hey Mvp, since u want Terrans, pick NaNiwa. Since NaNiwa will also pick a Terran.")
Mvp: I won against NaNiwa last time, but I was very intimidated. There were so many foreign fans. That's why I am avoiding picking foreigners. Most toss players are connected to IM so I'm not going to pick them, and Zergs are really strong and I think they'll pick Terrans which is why I was curious.
▼ MKP, any thoughts?
MKP: Within the Terrans right now, I seem to be the worst at TvT so I think he'll pick me.
▼ So are you going to grab the mic and ask Mvp not to pick you?
MKP: I do want to be in Group A. But I want to get in as the 3rd person picked.

▼ Why do you want a team kill?
MKP: Before coming to the Ro16 Group Selections, we talked about being in different groups. But if ByuN plays against Mvp, he will surely fall and that is what I want.

TaeJa: I don't particularly like it. I hate TvT. And Group A starts immediately so I have no time to rest and plan for my games so that's not good as well. I'm going to grab 2 bunnies now. Any Zerg players out there who are going to pick Protoss players?
MC: Mvp is there so it is what it is, but it seems inevitable. But if you pick me all I have to is make sure Mvp and I both advance so....
Seed: Huh.... now that I think about it I really don't want to be put in Group A. MC is really good at PvT. So please pick MC.

viOLet: I didn't even say anything so why......
TaeJa: I wanted to pick MC but I didn't think I was going to win against him so I picked viOLet. This time, I want to get past the Ro8 and go all the way to the finals.

viOLet: Every time I enter the booths for GSL, I lose all confidence. But now that I overcame the Ro32, I got my confidence back.

viOLet: ZvTs have gotten much easier lately but I am still worried.

▼ Reason for picking Seed?
viOLet: I wanted to play ZvZ initially. But I'm not good enough to face NesTea yet. MC is a bit too scary so I picked the last remaining toss, Seed.
▼ Is there any honey in this group?
Seed: I think there is some honey. And I think it's the person who picked me, viOLet. But I want that honey to become a royal jelly. Ah.... I think these are going to be some fun games. Mvp is good so he'll advance 1st for sure and I want to advance 2nd.
viOLet: I dropped your name tag while picking you. And just like that, I will drop you from this group. Since playing in the GSL is such a great opportunity, I will play my absolute best.

Squirtle: I would like it if Mvp or KeeN picked me.
▼ Tell us your feelings about coming in 2nd last season.
Squirtle: I couldn't think straight. After I lost, I couldn't practice properly for a week. Afterwards, while facing KeeN in my Code S Group, I kept wondering if I would get 11-11ed. And I did.
▼ You are pegged as the most troublesome player to play against. How do you feel about that?
Squirtle: It is what it is.
▼ Any players who would like to play against Squirtle?
MKP: Squirtle said that he can handle cheese rushes now. But I think if he faces my cheese rushes, he won't be able to handle them. And even without needing to cheese I think I will be able to beat him.
▼ What race and player are you going to pick?
Squirtle: I am going to pick either a Terran or a Zerg.

-After picking Symbol-
▼ Reason for picking Symbol?
Squirtle: After watching Symbol's games I know that he is a great player. I think if I play against really good players this season it's going to be a lot of fun for me. That's why I picked him.
Symbol: I didn't want to meet him this early but since I now have to, I will prepare extensively for it.

▼ The race you are going to pick?
Symbol: I didn't think I would get picked this early. But it's nice to know that I get the chance to pick someone. Of course I will be picking a terran.
MKP: There's a Terran player I would like to nominate. During practices, I've noticed that ByuN really sucks against Zergs. I on the other hand, am really good against Zergs. Symbol, you will surely beat ByuN. I guarantee this.
Symbol: Squirtle said that he wanted to play against really good players so I aim to pick really good players. And ByuN is my long time friend so I'm excluding him. (Believe he's referring to when Symbol and ByuN were on the same team during BW)
MKP: Now that I think about it, I think it'll be good to pick a Protoss too. MC hyung sitting next to me has won more championships than me and is better than me.
Symbol: Are there any Protoss players that would like to get picked?
MC: Ahhh...... it's tempting..... if I'm picked, it's sure to turn into the group of death. If you desire, pick me.
Seed: I don't care if I'm picked. Pick whoever you want. Ever since I came here, I already made up my mind to pick a Zerg player. But every Zerg player here is way too good. That's why I think I'll be picking SuperNoVa. Within Group A, I want 3 terrans in there with me as the 4th player so I can suck all the honey.. Ah, I think I've said a little too much. Within these groups the most tempting ones are Group C and Group D.

▼ Reason for picking MKP?
Symbol: I didn't pick him for any evil reasons. I wanted to pick a really good player who could face me in the winners' round. I think luck was on my side for the Ro32 games. This time when I face him, I don't know what will happen.
▼ How do you feel about your recent games?
MKP: I feel like I've hit some kind of great wall. Squirtle is really good at PvZ so I think Squirtle will win. For me, I want to face Squirtle in the winners' round.
Symbol: I'm going to practice very hard and advance. I will work hard to advance 1st in my group

▼ Are you confident in your looks nowadays?
MKP: I think these days the water is rising. When I was young, I wanted to be an actor. I think I was born with that kind of potential.
▼ In your opinion, who do you resemble the most?
MKP: I believe I resemble Jung Woo Sung. (famous Korean actor) Lately my feelings have been swelling up a lot.
▼ How will you feel about facing a StarTale player?
MKP: Next week in the GSTL, if I'm able to face Squirtle and able to win then I think I'll feel really good. I don't think I even know how good I'll feel myself.

MC: I'm currently raising 2 bugs. The 2 bugs are MKP and PartinG. I've spent so much money for him and he backstabs me like this. My head understands why he did it but my heart is bursting with anger.
MKP: Regardless of the results, I am just hoping that MC hyung doesn't throw me away as a friend.
MC: Psh, too late, I already threw you away. Now I'm only going to raise my remaining bug, PartinG.
MKP: I want to face Symbol in the winners' round and then I want MC hyung to advance 2nd in our group.

Genius: Originally I wanted to pick Sniper. But he failed to make it. Not to mention he's a Zerg user. I'm really disappointed.
▼ Seems like a Zerg will win this GSL, any thoughts?
Genius: I completely agree.
▼ So you won't be picking Zergs?
Genius: That's right.
▼ Who are you going to pick?
Genius: Someone who doesn't look like himself.
▼ So you wish to test out this "doesn't look like himself" player?
Genius: Like I said, he doesn't look like himself.
▼ Are you going to pick someone who affects you personally?
Genius: I just saw him today and thought to myself "wow he looks different."

KeeN: First off, I have no idea what he means. I'm good friends with MC hyung and we've played pranks on him before. I know that eventually I'll have to face him one day. But I don't think he'll pick me. I'm certain of this.

▼ Reason for picking NaNiwa?
Genius: I've faced him quite a few times but I keep losing. I wanted a better win ratio against him so I picked him.
▼ How do you feel about this? Please tell us as if you were NaNiwa.
TheStC: I've beaten genius before as well. So I'm certain NaNiwa is pleased with this decision.
▼ How are you feeling?
TheStC: I don't feel very good but I think I'll feel lighter. (I have no idea what the heck this means)
▼ What kind of group will Group C be?
TheStC: A group with 4 Protosses.
▼ Who are you going to pick?
TheStC: NaNiwa gave me a list of players he wanted picked but right now, only one of those players remain.
MC: I know for a fact that NaNiwa thinks low of me. Just cause he's better looking.....
TheStC: Ryung was the first person. The 2nd was TaeJa. The 3rd person is who I'll be picking and the 4th was SuperNoVa.

-After picking KeeN-
▼ DRG and KeeN both wanted to play against NaNiwa. How do you feel about actually getting picked?
KeeN: For a long time I went back and forth in Code A. I lost to NaNiwa a lot. So I think NaNiwa considered me an easy opponent and that is why he picked me. Since I have some time to before I play, I am going to prepare well and show some really good games.

KeeN: I don't know why people think I'm weak. Because I 11-11ed my way into the Ro16, I think people have the wrong impression of me. Since there are no Protosses right now, I'll have to carefully consider my choice.

ByuN: I'm a Terran player and yet I still haven't been picked and I don't know why. I just want to be put in Group C
NesTea: It feels so good right now. I don't have to go up there and pick someone but rather I get to sit here and just relax. I would like to play against NaNiwa. I wanted to face him first but since that's not possible, I would appreciate it if KeeN would send me to Group D.
DRG: Hey KeeN~! I'll buy you a lot of yummy food so please give me 3 Terrans in my group.
NesTea: I'll buy you even more food.
KeeN: I already eat a lot as it is. If I let this be a factor for my decision then I'm just going to fall out of my group.

KeeN: In the past, I've beaten NesTea hyung. But afterwards, I've lost every time I've faced him. And I'm confident in my TvT skills so I picked ByuN.
ByuN: I wanted this group so I'm content.

KeeN: I've shown a ton of TvT in the past. Genius hyung as always told me that I pop bubbles. This time, I really will pop bubbles. The deciding factor will be when I've beaten NaNiwa.

DRG: I believe I should win the whole thing. After all, I am a Zerg user.

DRG: I think everyone is pretty so so.

DRG: The person I'm about to pick
▼ You seem to say that Zerg is the strongest race. Have you always said this?
DRG: Before the patch, Zerg was pretty durable. But now that Blizzard went this far and patched things for us I've been able to practice so calmly that I rarely ever lose.
▼ If there is a race that you really love to play against?
DRG: Of course it is Terran.
▼ Is it because Terrans have no answer for Zerg players these days?
DRG: I don't think a simple solution is going to appear any time soon.

-After picking Ryung-
▼ Why did you choose Ryung?
DRG: The first reason is because he is a Terran, and the second reason is because when I played against SlayerS in the ace match for GSTL, I lost. So I have a grudge because of that. I'm going to destroy all SlayerS players.
▼ How do you feel about getting picked?
Ryung: The person DRG lost to is MMA, not me. So I feel kind of pissed about this decision.
▼ Will you lose in a head to head combat?
Ryung: Well DRG is a great player so I don't know how it will turn out.
▼ How about asking MMA for advice on taking down DRG?
Ryung: MMA even loses to Zerg players on our team. I really am pissed about DRG's justification about picking me.
DRG: Sorry about that. I'll keep that in mind for the next time.
▼ Any words for MMA?
Ryung: I'm sure MMA hyung is watching this right now and laughing to himself. Because of MMA, I got screwed over like this.

▼ Reason for picking SuperNoVa?
Ryung: Originally I was planning on picking viOLet but I decided to go for an easier race.
▼ MKP is still available and yet you went for SuperNoVa?
Ryung: Ah...... I completely forgot just now that MKP was still available.
SuperNoVa: Ah...... I wish you had thought this through extensively before picking. I really wanted to be in Group C.
MKP: After hearing Ryung's words, my heart sunk.
▼ You're always picked last. And once again, you don't get the chance to pick anyone.
SuperNoVa: I was picked relatively early so I thought I would be able to pick someone but as it turns out I don't get to after all. I honestly don't know why I'm in this group. I am just hoping we don't end up with 2 Zergs. But since this is the last group, I'm feeling kind of uneasy about it. I'm hoping the other will take the last remaining Zergs fast.
DRG: Truthfully, I wanted to play against SuperNoVa.
SuperNoVa: DRG, when we met in tournaments, I would always punish you. Thanks to the recent patch, you think you're all that. I will prove that you're nothing.
Ryung: I wanted to see MKP and DRG but because of my mistake I no longer get to. I will play my absolute best and beat the Zergs to advance.

NesTea: I beat Zergs in the Ro32 to get in to the Ro16. I'm scared right now. But even though I'm scared, Terrans are still easy for me. I'll defeat you with ease.
