I kind of miss the old crazy group nominations where everyone got cocky and just picked whoever was going to be most entertaining. It'd be a bad idea but wholy amusing to see MVP choose MC and for DRG to pick symbol or mkp for the challenge/ rivalry factors.

I think Naniwa gets picked by DRG first so won't come down to that.
I think Genius wouldn't mind beating Naniwa again but I think Genius would probably pick someone else just in case, should Naniwa fall to his spot.
And since Squirtle and Naniwa practice together, highly unlikely they pick each other either.

Oh man I'd love to see all the zergs in one group. With how much ZvZ has been evolving lately it'd be amazing with infestor drops and nydus play and a hive tech all over the place. It's just not possible for those four to make ZvZ boring and we might even see some contaminates used again.

I find it weird that MC feels like the weakest player in Ro16. He didn't look too good in his matches (I did skip MC vs Sniper though), compared to everyone else.

Contaminate costs 125 energy (as opposed to 50 before), hard to be usable when you have to have overseers waiting around for like a minute in order to use it once

I wish to a falling star that Team Liquid will do a full presentation (with all the nice graphics like the BW write-ups) of all the ro16 players after group noms. This season is definitely the most stacked group of ro16 ever. So many storylines everywhere like:
Nestea trying to get 4 GSL titles to match MVP and is riding on this motivation
64.47% Match Win Rate 49W/27L
MVP trying to get 5 titles as well as a golden keyboard and still trying to show non-believers that he is the true king of terran
70.53% Match Win Rate 67W/28L holy crap, almost 100 matches played and able to maintain 70% match WR!
Symbol arguably the best Zerg right now (in all 3 match ups)
88.89% Match Win Rate 16W/2L
Squirtle wants his revenge against MVPKeen (for ro32) and LGIMMVP (last season finals)
62.71% Match Win Rate 37W/22L
Naniwa and his run for the finals and which Korean will cheese him out this time around! Still representing the foreigners!
38.89% Match Win Rate 7W/11L
Genius and his self proclaimed rivalry against team MVP after leaving the team (???)

MKP will he finally win a GSL after winning so many MLGs and will he face off against MVP in ro16?

I think it will be hard to put all these players onto a power rank chart but I will be cheering for Seed (hopefully he has finally become the protoss hero we wanted since his GSTL debut over a year ago!)

Keen, Supernova, Ryung, Taeja etc will probably get picked super early by a Zerg if a Zerg can. Otherwise, no other race will pick Zergs except maybe Squirtle or MC for a long time.
