DRG is a clear favorite. Hoping that Maru can make it back through from the losers match vs violet and then against Oz

Hoping for DRG and Oz, although I wonder if Violet will take it over Oz. Maru's good, but he never gets me really excited, so I hardly ever hope he wins over some of my other favorite players/ non-Terrans.

Look at the 2012 tournaments and realize Oz has been overseas a lot as well, just hasn't been noticed since he's been knocked out so early. Violet and DRG are the clear favorites.

Without any other Protoss in the group, Oz has a good chance of making it out.

It's tough; Violet and DRG are probably going to advance, but I could see Maru pulling out something average against Violet at his zaniest and maybe pulling a game, or even a match? Should be a good day.

I feel like people are kinda overrating viOLet now just like they would with any foreigner. Sure he is good and Oz hasn't been hot recently, but DRG is still quite a good deal better and Maru is likely better than him too. Also he arrived in Korea a day ago so he probably shouldn't be playing at his best. Of course if he does play his best then he has a good shot at getting through but I am not anticipating much.

I agree. Violet's LAN performances have been great but Code S is a really different format and I don't know how much opportunity he's had to plan for it specifically given his travel schedule. I certainly wouldn't count him out but I don't think he's really a favorite in this group.

I give it to Maru and DRG, something about Maru makes me think that he'll get out of this group.

Was a really tough choice between Violet and Maru, but my gut is my gut, and I fancy myself a fat man.

Almost exactly my prediction.

Agreed. Maru has shown that in tough situations he has the ability to pull himself out of a hole, which will be vital in this group. If DRG doesn't make it out of this group I don't even know what my reaction will be...Pretty sure DRG's going for his second GSL title, if Nestea doesn't show why he's the creator of the universe, but I still don't think Nestea's too happy about MVP's 4th title, and wants to stack his Nestea award with a nice 4th trophy!

Even though I think DRG and Maru will make it through, I hope Oz can qualify, everyone seeing him as the underdog here, I hope it's an underestimate.
