Thats because the people playing are so good. If someone was able too make multiple mistakes and still win would be the bigger concern for me.
And it wasn' just one mistake that led to SaSe's victory, there were three or four mistakes made that allowed him to capitalize

stephano vs nerchio - nerchio favored. HerO vs MaNa- HerO favored NaNiwa vs DIMAGA - 50% 50% SaSe vs Fraer - SaSe favored, upset can happen too. How is Nerchio favored? Stephano wins 66.5% of his ZvZs... Nerchio is 68%. Stephano has wayyyyyy more LAN experience though. So it really just evens out. Mobsy, Stephano lose ZvZ to sLivko and one no name at dreamhack. Also he stated that didnt practice ZvZ for 2 weeks. tell me, how is nerchio isnt favored. Losing ZvZ to no names while hungover in a stage that has no meaning because you know you will advance...
Yeah, clear proof that his ZvZ is terrible and a prime example of why Stephano will lose.

If anything it only indicates how high overall skill of players improved and how good game is figured out. P.S. Or how SC2 doesnt allow comebacks... I am not quite sure....

Ret lost because that 3rd hatch was sniped.. thats the only reason..
The best part is that he saw the zealots with the overlord and he dont go back to kill them... Thats what i call clutch decision making;/
sry for eng !

I'd hardly call that Nerchio favored.
True. Stephano did already lose a ZvZ decidedly in this tournament so far though (to Slivko I believe), so that may factor in to the equation. We'll see what happens though.

It is widely known that ZvZ is by far Stephanos worst match up, he lost 2 ZvZs earlier in the tournament, one of which was to some no name. Nerchio, on the other hand, is known as having some of the best ZvZ in Europe.

We'll see who is correct
You do realize that you wouldn't have predicted the ZvZ defeats he already had by going off of his career stats? Thus your prediction method is already more flawed in comparison.

That was actually really hard to watch.

If Nerchio goes through, doubt he can beat HerO. Stephano would at least give HerO a crazy run for his money.
ZvZ is volatile and it really can go either unless you are ZenexLife.

How does Ret deserve to win when he made even worse mistakes? It's not like whoever makes a mistake first deserves to lose I didn't say Ret deserved to win, I said SaSe DIDN'T deserve to win. I respect players like Naniwa, Hero, Squirtle etc because they typically don't do pathetic all-ins as they have more builds and ideas available to them and don't have to rely on coin-flips. SaSe is no where near their level, yet gets results because of his cheese and good luck. Of course people are going to hate on him. yet just one game earlier, he beat him on 3 bases?
Yeah, if SaSe didn't do the exact same build in game 3 to Stephano at MLG, then my opinion of him wouldn't have deteriorated. This is just the nail in the coffin for him in my opinion. First foreigner that I am officially an anti-fan of.

I am really curious if Nerchio will balance-whine in mirror match-up in case of defeat.

Looking for Hero vods, but the vods available are just 10 hour long livestreams. Anyone know when/which stream exactly the games were played?
