I remember someone working for the GESL smack talking NASL about how his event was gonna destroy NASL. 2000 viewers there between two streams, 3500 watching Cruncher vs aLive XD

Edit: Their LoL stream is doing really well though.

Hmm, 4 of the 5 groups were won by Slayers-EG players, and Demuslim came in 2nd in Group 2. Nice

Every single time I've ever seen him play, as far as I remember, he has either cheesed, or tried to cheese (and then had to switch when it gets scouted).
He's such a horrible person to watch, it's ridiculous.

I understand you're wanting to cast the final rounds of the open brackets, but man, SC is just so horrible to watch games of. I don't understand how he's still around when all he does is cheese almost every single game he plays.

I've never understood people's strong aversion to cheesy games - I'd rather watch a cheese rush than a long cautious 4 base game that has only one big battle at the end. I wish they would be called "micro-intensive openers" instead of "cheese".

I don't have a problem with cheese.
Cheese is fine. A player who basically ONLY cheeses is not fine. Seriously, nearly every game he plays, he opens in a cheesy way if he can, be it proxy starport, double rax as in these games, or some other cheese. It's what he does all the time.
Someone who CAN cheese and does cheese sometimes is good.
SC is like Idra, but the opposite. For most of his early career, Idra never ever cheesed, which made him bad and boring, because he never mixed it up, and was predictable.
SC equally always cheeses, so he's also predictable and it's simply a bad way to play. You need to mix it up, not play the same way every single time you play.

I never said they have shown him before, but he has played before many times in various competitions, and always cheeses.

Hasn't sC spent the last year or so dealing with a collapsed lung? As someone who started playing in a time when lots of 2rax and early terran cheeses defined the game, he may not have spent much time learning macro builds while having lung surgery. It may be frustrating for you to watch, but give the guy a break, he's had horrible medical issues and is trying to make a living playing this game.

Yes, but according to Trimaster, sC also spent most of his time playing League of Legends instead of Starcraft 2 until he fell out of Code A.

Well, to be fair, you probably need lungs more to play LoL than SC2, since you need to communicate with your team and stuff

The front page says Catz receives the FF win, however the Liquipedia page suggests ThorZain took the win. Which is it?

The OP is correct. (Z)CatZ got the FF win over (T)ThorZaIN

Here's someone who read MVP.
Get 6 queens, can't die against anything terran do before 10min.

I don't understand Select build tho.
Getting stim, +1 bio, but then double armory ?

It's pretty funny how even 8 Blue flame hellion can't stop creep spread.
Sometimes Select scanned the same place 3 times and could not get all the tumors. :/

Poor Thorzain. Almost impossible for him to make wildcards now. Needs Select to lose 0-2 and Polt to lose, then plays a tiebreaker with Nightend and Select and possibly Polt

LOL Zerg is actually pretty bullshit. Terran needs a speed overlord nowadays to scout roach ling pushes (I would call it all-in, because it is as strong as an all-in, but being able to drone behind it...)

Seems like Ret is guaranteed at least a tiebreaker match with Demuslim for a spot in the finals.

Indeed. If MC loses it could be a 3 way tie or just Demu and Ret in.

Terran wins everything. Every noob can split marines, drop, be the aggressor, and macro behind it. That's why you see so many godly foreign terrans. Ret had to spread creep, build workers, and be passive. This stlye is much more difficult and the reason why there are barely any good korean zergs and no good foreign zergs.
SC2 was doomed from the start.

Almost as if they could use some sort of magical "base scan" ability that would be a good thing to put in a future patch perhaps...

wat?

Terran is by far the weakest foreign race.

Ok wtf? The graphic now shows that Thorzain is 5-3, which would only be the case if Thorzain won the FF today.
