Not a fan of the casting at all. I get that nothing is happening, but atleast try and sound excited. Ugh. Hope Darkforce wins though.

I feel the same way. They don't seem very knowledgeable either. I don't play zerg so I don't know a lot about ZvZ, but they made it sound like Darkforce had no way of winning, and 10 secs later he is 50 supply up.

Edit: Surely DF is losing now though. I still felt like the call was too early.

CatZ is a Zerg player. Do you really think you can measure up to his knowledge of the match-up ?

Of course not. I wasn't aware that it was Catz who casted when I wrote that post though. I was just surprised at how many times they said that the game was over, but it kept going on for almost 40 minutes. If anything they could have said that DF/Lalush was behind instead of "He is going to lose now because..."

It might just be me misunderstanding what Catz said though.

I think it was more that there were times when both players should have lost but their opponent messed up and it reset the game.

The game was over numerous times from a caster perspective because the advantage from either player was too big had they realized it. They didn't and thus allowed the game to continue by making bad decisions or good decisions to even up the game.

Is it possible to move up the matches for the next time? Living in Denmark it is now 1 AM and we have only started the finals now. I can't watch the finals to the end due to work tomorrow. I realise it is impossible to make it watchable for everyone, but I kinda expected the EU qualifications to cater to the EU timezones.

This is a minor complaint really and I do understand that the tourney is insanely big which can make it unavoidable with these late games. Just figured I would mention it so it could be considered.

It has to be convenient for the players first of all, if you do it even earlier, no one in NA will be able to participate.

That's what nice about TSL.
You'll always get players you don't expect into it.
