This is why I refuse to pay for streams right now. There isn't a single event that can smoothly run one start to finish.

WCS finals.

This makes no fucking sense.

Who is Daisuki. If it's NA finals where are all the good NA players?

Firstly is USA finals.
Secondly what good NA players?

Sheth, Illusion, Idra, are all way better than these scrubs.

All those players were in the tournament and lost. Idra got 4th, but lost to Daisuki in a ZvZ.

If a new player from America has a lot of skill, he will have good games @ international tournaments like MLG, and then he will have some attention, like for exemple Illusion when he defeated some koreans.
A skilled player can find ways to receive recognition

Suppy had a decent MLG run and the forum monsters just shit on him for the most part.

For reference, the winner of this finals will have made more prize money in one tournament than players like Keen, Happy, TLO (by like $50), and Gumiho have ever won in their career tourney winnings.

Before this tournament, the winner would have also made $200 more than Alicia has ever won. This is going to change, obviously.

It's better to be American than Korean in sc2 ^^ but you have a bad ladder, so I don't know

I think Korea will have their own WCS. So we'll see how it compares.

Lol but to win the wcs of korea, you have to beat players that are way more skilled that NA players, that was my point

Yet, one of these scrubs is dragging his zergy butt to the bank.
And Sheth, Idra and illusion are not. Wish sheth was playing now, atleast i had someone to cheer for.

Well, i speak for myself, but I saw his run in the bracket and I was impressed and I will look in future tournament to see if he confirms If you have results that are good and constant, you will get recognition

If you compare it population-wise though, we really are pretty bad.

King of Fighters is pretty awesome too. I think I watched more fighters than SC2 on the first day, it's really nice change to watching SC every weekend.

I have a question, I generally remember that the final day of the mlg takes a little longer, does that have something to do with todays quick match or is that something that they planned wrong and trying to fill in with these games

You forgot Spades, I've heard Spades has beaten all these players pretty handily without even having to scout.

Same here! I've been watching all 3 games. KoF is the most fun to watch, but I've also been watching Soul Calibur as well.
