You're going to have to do better than 2base all-ins every game to even have a glimpse of a chance in Code S, though. I know I should be impressed by Sase, but for some reason I'm totally not. How often does Stephano lose to Protoss? You should be. Yesterday those same people were arguing that Stephano was a top 3 Zerg, and today they're not impressed that Sase can beat their "top 3 Zerg" lol. Lol, gaining the favor of the LR thread is random indeed. It's just that the fanboys scream the loudest when their favorite player wins. That's sorta how it works. What i meant to say was that it's not that random who gets the favor of the LR thread. It's mostly the player who wins.
Nah, it's more like someone who wins early on, doing strategies that are LR approved (no cannons!).

Your standard 2 base triple immortal push and stephano failed a baneling bust in game 2. well then he must have adjusted his b.o cus if u hit w/ 3 immos the push comes at around 10-10:30ish and zerg has a pretty big army by then, what time did he push out at? Zerg had 20-30 more supply than him in roaches. Sase had great FF's in the first engagement though.
SaSe pushed out with four immortals from what I saw, then another one joined when he engaged, and he pushed out around 10-10:30. The build he was using is very well tuned.

With a tournament this stacked and with this format where you do not have time to prepare for every opponent for days on end, MLG definitely shows who the most solid/best overall players are... and even more so when DRG and MKP are top 3 so many times in a row.

Moved out at 9:30ish, arrived at like 10:30 with 3 immortals. Supply was like 150-100.

Last I checked he also won DH and I'm also pretty sure that he's one of the only foreign Terrans to have won a tournament in a while.

Was worried when I saw the robo, but blink/observer should do well here.

Maybe? Other than that the only other foreigner in Korea that comes to mind is TLO.
ThorZain will be.

I'd say he's up there for one of the best runs in MLG history.
He beat Polt 2-1.

He had 8 gates. I think when he pushed out he had 3 immortals but when the main battle went down he had 4 immortals and like 8+ sentrys. Stephano focused down the imortals but after the fight was over the immortals were all gone but most of the gateway units were still alive and it was too much for stephano to handle.
I really hate immortal allins. It's as boring as a 4 gate vs 4gate

I mean, since you are supposed to have an extra chance coming from the winners you get an easier time, however, with the rule of crap do you get even more chances since you've previously beaten this person? Well I probably already know the answer since, as far as I remember, it doesn't happen when you beat someone in the winner's final but that just goes to show how retarded the rule is.
I think it actually be way more interesting if no player had the advantage going into the grand finals. I usually lose abit of interest at that point seeing as it's incredibly rare that the guy with the advantage doesn't win, as he more often than not will also have the mental or stamina advantage. You keep over the scores from the previous games but go into a Bo9 for the grand finals. But not if the guy who comes from the winner's, wins? Right? Then it's just a, what? bo3? 5? Urf for that I have no idea, sorry.
If you havnt played I believe it would be a bo3 that the one who comes from the losers bracket has to win in order to extend the series into a bo9.
