Hypothetically, he could receive texts or calls from someone indicating his opponents strategies. On the other hand, iPhones are also mp3 players, and he very easily could have airplane mode on and just be using it for music. I'd imagine someone from MLG will be on top of that It's not that hard to turn airplane mode off. It's very easy to ghost via skype using an iPhone.

Just enjoy the games guys and be happy (: Edit: It was more likely plans not pants btw, Shit talking is a pretty lame way to communicate however, especially when seemingly nothing tipped it off.

It'd be kinda hard to read a phone that's in your pocket, while you're constantly being watched by an audience and a camera, and there is a POV cam that would show you slip up as you read. Don't accuse people of cheating without hard evidence, it makes you look silly, and it can be harmful to the player. I nowhere once accused Stephano of cheating. He is in fact the player I am rooting for (sorry to the guy who said I was a sase fan?), and I don't think he is cheating. I'm just saying, it's completely possible AND easy to cheat with a phone. It's not hard to ask a friend to text you 3 times immediately at the start if your enemy isn't making drones (6pool). Cheating is very, very easy with a phone. No tournament game -- final bracket or tier1 open bracket -- should begin with the player having ANY electronic device on his person.

I don't think Stephano is cheating of course, but I don't think phones should be allowed in the booth, Stephano can afford a separate mp3 player lol. GSL doesn't allow phones in the booth.

I'm not a fan of shit talking, don't get me wrong but look what Idra did to the scene . . . brought more people in. I'd rather have him doing that than being a quiet, shy little Korean who says absolutely nothing and barely anyone remembers

I am saying that cell phones could EASILY be used to cheat, and such temptations should not even be allowed. It is not hard at allllllllllll to cheat with a phone in your pocket on vibrate. At ALL. With a simple system you could be 100% cheese-proof While you're at it, better make the booths light-proof to. Someone from the crowd could easily signal him info too.

Again, is there any confirmation it was a phone, other than artosis saying "he must be texting his buddy?" An iphone and ipod touch look near identical, and you could see him messing with headphones (that appeared to be connected to said device) while he was using it. People need to calm the fuck down when we don't 100% know what's going on

He didn't accuse anyone of cheating He pointed out players shouldn't be allowed cellphones due to valid concerns that it has the potential to enable them to cheat.
