Every normal profession got to have a free times apart from progamers, it seems. Those must eat, sleep and play StarCraft.

Well should a professional soccer player for instance train basketball instead of his own sport?

You don't really "train" at playing a recreational game.

Should a soccer player be allowed to play basketball in his free time? Absolutely.

should he be allowed to play basketball instead of soccer??

I really don't understand. Please make your point are you saying that if you decide to play soccer you are no longer allowed to touch a basketball or something like that?

i am saying should a professional soccer athlete be allowed to train basketball instead of soccer not as an hobby but when he is training

Yeah, they should play SC2 from the moment the wake up to the moment they go to sleep. Why do they deserve free time?

Come to think of it... why the hell are all of us with jobs not currently studying at how to become better at what we do? Damn us. We don't deserve to be employed.

probably because most of our jobs aren't competitive sports

I saw some athletes tweeting about playing CoD. wtf are they doing?! They need to be training!

they are playing in their free time probably

And who is to say ViBe and other pro's weren't playing D3 and other games in their free time? Do you have a camera in their houses seeing what they do 24/7?

Athletes don't even train every day. In the middle of the playoffs, some of the Indiana Pacers players took a full day off and went to Disney World. Its perfectly normal to take off days and its actually good for you! There is such a thing as over training.

you realize gordon hayward plays sc2 same time as nba right?

You do realize he also caught grief for playing sc2 instead of training basketball by people in his community. Its the same thing is really of no importance.

Can we stop having this ridiculous conversation about pros playing other games as hobbies/training etc? This had been beaten to death in other threads. Focus on WCS/mLG please! Gogo!
