Whether gold or not, everyone knows Antiga's Terran's favorite map against Z. But Symbol was way ahead (at least looked like it) before he started losing it.

gold bases are a problem because terran benefits much more from an influx of income when taking the fourth compared to zerg and gold bases let the terran get more minerals with less workers which the terran likely does have less workers by that point
however imo that game wasnt effected too much by the gold because mkp was floating 1000+minerals which would essentially be slightly more than the golds benefit i believe
however that was the golds benefit being shown there for terran, meaning if symbol played better and used his advantage he had midgame (he was heavily ahead supply wise) and managed to get out some infestors to win the next few battles by IT'ing tanklines and fungals to stop the bio from running from banelings, marineking still would have had that 1000mineral gold advantage to fall back on

If you've ever seen a Polt game vs Zerg on Antiga just imagine for a second if those center bases were gold, that should explain everything you need to know on why gold bases are a bad idea.
