At the very least Idra was once a solid player in Code S with international results. Nightend really has nothing. According to Liquipedia, the only thing semi-major he's won this year was a 150 euro European tourney about 3-4 months ago..

It encourages long games, and late game tvp is difficult atm.

You can't "deserve" a seed in a tournament that everyone else has to qualify for - you only deserve a spot by qualifying yourself. Naniwa's accomplishments after receiving the seed (which is like the third time he got one) have nothing to do with him deserving a seed.

It's not like before where you could stay in code S just by getting 3rd in your group for Ro32.

Despite the hate they get those guys place high in tournaments a LOT. You obviously hate them quite a bit. Not 3 or 4. They have won 5 premier championships, whereas Liquid and mouz have won 4 each. If you add smaller tournaments(between 5 and 10k), mouz would take the lead, with Torneo ESL, EPS, UGC etc. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Premier_Tournaments_Medalists/Team

He probably deserved it just based on the fact he was Goms one foreigner for so many seasons. I feel like they owed him a second chance. What's with the map choice? Entombed and Cloud? This is terrible for PvT. Poor Terrans. Edit: Yeah I agree none of the seeds are truly "deserved" but if they are going to have seeds for foreigners then they might as well make good choices. Sometimes they make bad choices.

Jinro and ToD are fighting right now, and it's about more than just favourite players making it through, it's about a foreigner making it through. The pride of the rest of the world is hanging on the balance right now. Absolutely despise this way of thinking, there are so many things wrong with it that I cannot and will not start. >_<

He actually won one by placing second a MLG (can't remember where) against Leenock. And after he "lost" this one he got only one seed in code S, this season.

Just because you are Code S caliber doesn't mean you deserve an easy way in. But sadly the world is unfair. ![]()
