Top 8 from last season included Liquid, Empire, and TSL, none of which had a bye. IM and Mouz make sense, ST over Liquid I don't get as much. edit: wait a second, I'm wrong, gimme a sec. It's definitely not top 8 of last season though. edit2: Ok, it was supposed to be top 4 from past two. IM took it for QIM and MVP took it for col-MVP from season 1. I guess Startale (5th from TAC 2) got oGs's spot (3rd), not sure why them over Liquid though. edit3: didn't realize, but oGs is still in this tourny, thought they have been removed since they disbanded. I have no clue why Startale got the bye over them. | ||

TAC 2 top 8: Prime, HoSeo, oGs, FXO, StarTale, Teamliquid, TSL and Empire. TAC 3 byes: Mouz, Slayers, MVP, IM, StarTale, FXO, HoSeo and Prime. Hmm.. | ||

Edit: but your point, they probably choose ST because of their second place finish in he GSTL Ah, yes, good point, that probably had to do with it, although FXO (4th) has a seed, so you would expect them to relinquish the bye to ST rather than oGs (3rd). Meh, works out I guess considering they disbanded. | ||
