Top American players are

Idra, Sheth and Destiny I guess?

NA does have more famous players but to say that on average NA pros are good by any means is stupid.

thank you so much grubby for making this tournament less painful to watch. i`m happy to have a tournament here but it`s obvious that there is a skill gap between our players and the top european players.

there's a reason you haven't seen a bunker rush in GSL TvP in over a year. because its easy to stop.

I cant speak for every team, especially NA ones which typically have less support and infrastructure for players, but I promise you any player who trains primarily via ladder is not winning any tournaments.

For those that are interested the stream is live. Unfortunately ESL failed again by forgetting to submit the 2nd day as an event.

The english casters are in Cologne at the ESL headquarters. But still nice result. Ret doesn't have the best record vs Grubby.
Most likely they will meet again in the overall final at the offline NL qualifier.
