Jinro won game two only because he blindly countered MC's colossi tech with mass mass vikings. He never even scouted the tech.

And I'm sad to say that, because I wish I could attribute it to something more, but I really can't. MC outmacroed him pretty hard but Jinro just had the better unit composition- by complete coincidence.

jinro's superior upgrades and macro in that game had nothing to do with it?

okay...

Can you please explain your decision to go vikings at that time then? Even the casters were pointing out your lack of scouting, and curious about your beneficial choice. How did you know he was going colossus tech? I'm interested in learning something about starcraft

Upgrade advantage, lots of medivacs, I felt comfortable that I could handle templars if he had any.
So I made stuff to kill colossi if he made them.

I'm only annoyed because both comments I read from you in this thread were talking shit about me.

Especially since you said MC "outmacroed him pretty hard" when we had equal supply entire game.

It wasnt a contain, I just couldnt attack yet but I was still going to allin.

Game 1 the lack of siege was 1) I wanted to catch stalkers before they could walk around
2) You cant siege on the ramp or your units wont get up =.=

I've been a huge fan since you were stomping face in GSL and I was crushed when you started to not do as well. I, an adult male, literally screamed a few times from the excitement I felt from seeing you play so awesome today. Go Jinro! <3

Just because tanks were sieged doesn't mean Jinro was containing MC. He was waiting for vikings to engage.

Idk how you guys didnt think of this. He was pretty far ahead and he was thinking "okay the only unit that can really make a huge difference when i attack is if he gets some collossus and i didnt have any vikings so im going to make vikings to be safe for the collossus" thats the whole logic behind that and if mc did make like some collossus and had 2 there at that last engagement and jinro only had bio, mc could win that fight and suddenly be ahead.

Pretty much sums up the whole conversation.

GG Jinro. I almost died from a heart attack game 3. Game 2 was dominance.

It is so nice when you stay up to 5am even if you have work tomorrow just to come to TL to see how player you stayed to watch is acting towards people and possible fans. :/

Maybe if every post I saw by him in this thread hadn't been basically saying "You are bad and lucky" I would have been nicer.

In his defense, the original post by DarkPlasma was being pretty accusatory whilst being completely wrong as well. That along with the fact that he had just lost a frustrating close series can mean low tolerance for posts like that. Something I certainly wouldn't hold against the guy.

Seemed like a totally normal response to me in game, though not entirely for sure, it was about that time where you'll want vikings anyways... definitely not by total coincidence.

ggs Jinro, I figure you took a game on your map choice so if Antiga was first map perhaps the series would have been different, and anyways they were good games all around anyways... The only thing I would have changed would be pulling all of my SCVs and going totally all in, but that's only my perspective and I'm guessing you wanted to have reinforcements since you had 3-1-1 for production...

anyways not the end of the world, MC's a great toss and you have the rest of the season :D you've been looking quite good recently, though not as much streaming, I'm sure due to travel. Anyways I look forward to seeing more of your performances soon! gl!

Keep on fighting, Jinro, I still remember when you were high in the GSL was some of the most exciting games I've seen.

Also, excellent cast today, good mix of fun and professionalism. I suspect your producer has something to do with this, keeping you guys in line.

jinro,

plain bad build game 1. your nice helion run in means nothing since you let mc outmacro you in the first place. and helion harrass is good if you dont all in and do it often. dumb fuk move breaking the rocks as it slowed your attack so much while letting mc see what you're up to and prepared for it. bad seige and bad tank targeting at the engagement. you let your tanks target the immortals instead of the stalkers in range so basically they did nothing.

game two i wish you played like that more often. but i was still a bit concerned when you delayed your attack since you're basically letting MC build up his colosus count and tempar energy. you need to stay aggressive and trade armies often vs protoss ala MKP. luckily you finally decide to engage when stoms are not yet ready. if you delayed that attack for 2 more seconds those HT's would have wrecked you clumped up army moving up the ramp.

game 3 you could have won man. if you only waited to converged your units at the bottom with your units ahead and land the vikings in advance and move with the mmm

i notice dood that you have good openings and scouting but you seem to lose during battles.
