Wow, poor Lyn. Went 7-0 in his group only to get knocked out 3-0 in Ro8.
Anyway, hoping LoveCD takes it. I don't know why, but I haven't really been impressed by Loner from the little that I saw him in NSL.

yesterdays production value was probably on par with GSL from what i saw.
sad this isn't promoted via the calendar events thing.

Game 1 @ Dual Sight
F91 @ 8 in red, Toodming @ 2 in blue.
5:00 Both players expand after pool and speed, and following a baneling nest.
6:30 Toodming's banelings hit more lings than F91, thus giving him a little advantage here.
8:30 losing a lot of lings means F91's nat is long gone, he tapped out soon after.
Toodming leading 1-0.

Game 2 @ Metalopolis
F91 @ 6 in red, Toodming @ 12 in blue.
3:00 Hatch first for F91, speedling expand for Toodming
5:00 Baneling nest down for Toodming while F91 gets a lot of lings.
7:00 Toodming holds F91's ling aggression with some losses, but F91 still has food advantage.
9:00 Toodming hides 2 banelings in F91's base, kills a ton of lings, he then gets a 3rd.
12:00 Roaches, Roach speed and +1 missile attack coming up for Toodming, and F91 switching to Infestors.
13:00 Toodming's massive +1 Roach forces easily overwhelms F91's undefended nat, the old Zerg gg's out in a sec.
Toodming leads 2-0 and holds the match point.

Oh, I had forgotten about this tournament ;; too much LoL recently.
Go Loner! :D Though I wouldn't be too hurt if LoveCD won.

F91 @ 2 in red, Toodming @ 5 in blue.
2:00 with 2 match points at hand, Toodming goes Hatch first and F91 opens with speedling.
4:00 F91's b-ling all-in is scouted, Toodming reacts with 3 spines.
6:00 But F91's banelings still slips through the defenses and kills 8 drones.
8:00 the following Zerglings relentlessly storms Toodmings bases, leaving him only 3 drones left.
9:00 with all drones gone, Toodming sends out the "Good game".
Toodming leads 2-1.

6:00 a intense ling-bling fighter at middle, whild F91's zerglings storm into Toodming's main, killing 2 in-morph banelings, some workers and 2 queens.
9:00 with a lot of ling losses, F91 masses a lot of lings and run into Toodming's base, and Toodming's banelings lays waste in F91's main.
11:00 Toodming's economy is completely destroyed, he gg's out, F91 put the destiny back together with a 2-2 score.

3:00 F91 sees the Zerglings, but his pool is far from completed.
5:30 Toodming's Baneling Nest finishing up, F91 put down 3 spines at his nat.
7:30 F91 somewhat holds ling-bling attack, while Toodming double expands.
10:00 Toodming starts lair, F91 puts down his Roach Warren.
12:30 F91's Roaches move out but Toodming's Mutas are just too much.
14:30 Mutas arrive at F91's main, F91 taps out of the game and collects yet another 4th place.
Toodming wins 3-2.

These chinese are decent. I guess they can compete internationally if sc2 continues to grow bigger in china.

3:00 Loner opens 1rax expand, Lovecd reacts by 2 gases. Loner calls down a mule in LoveCD's main to scout!
6:30 Lovecd puts down his nat but continues building Immortals, Loner smells the blood and put down 2 bunkers at his nat.
9:30 Lovecd's fearsome Immortal-sentry army hits Loner's nat, but the Terran pulls scvs and holds till Stim finishes.
12:00 Lovecd's first Colossus steps out and Loner attempts a counter attack.
13:00 Lovecd's non-range Colossus was killed but the 2nd Colossus drives Loner away.
14:30 2 loaded medivacs keeps LoveCD at bay, while his 3rd is in production.
17:00 Lovecd strikes Loner's 3rd, but was soon annihilated by Loners superior bio-viking force, sees no follow-up, Lovecd leaves the game.
Loner leads 1-0.

8:30 Loner pushes with his bunch of Marines, Lovecd holds with great Stalker micro.
10:30 The Protoss already saturated his 3 bases and starts Charge and additional 4 gateways.
12:00 Storm researching for Lovecd, charge almost done when Loner pushes forward.
14:30 Lovecd feedbacks the medivacs while the Chargelots drive Loner away.
16:00 Dark Shrine and 4th put down, Lovecd storms toward the Terran's 3rd.
18:00 Lovecd a-moves through Loner's front line, storms everywhere on the Terrans army and scvs, Loner gg's out.
Lovecd ties the finals 1-1.

I'd just like to point out that the commentators deserve some love here too. In the Chinese tournaments I've watched in the past I wasn't particularly impressed, but these guys are pretty good.

LoveCD @ 5 in red, Loner @ 8 in blue.
3:00 Loner puts down gas and a 2nd rax.
5:40 Lovecd goes 4-gate blink stalker and Loner is in fact player a 2-rax stim all-in.
7:20 Loner's stim-equipped bio forces rallys to Lovecd's base, and blink is simply not enough to hold the sheer firepower. Loner backs out after killing bunch of forces and probes since he is getting a nat.
10:30 Lovecd desperately attacks into Terran's nat, but killing absolutely nothing.
13:00 Stalkers blink into Loner's nat but Lovecd's main is already in wreckage, the Protoss gg's.
Loner 2-1 Lovecd.

6:00 Lovecd puts down his nexus, Loners marine-scv force go straight in to the Protoss's main! Lovecd pulls all probes and defends it. Loner starting his 2nd cc.
8:00 Lovecd finally finds the proxied rax. while Loner starts producing marines and marauders from his 4 raxes.
10:00 Lovecd puts down Robo Bay, starting colossi later.
12:30 Loner enmassing Vikings seeing the Colossi's emerging. Charge researching for Lovecd.
15:00 both players sticking to 2 bases, Lovecd puts down pylons in multiple bases.
17:30 Loner has a lot of Vikings while Lovecd's storm is done.
18:30 big engagements at Lovecd's nat! the vikings obliterates the Colossi, but the storms cleaned the stuff up.
20:00 a wave of Zealots laying wreckage at Loner's main, killed more than 20 scvs.

It would, but it's really hard for them to get visas. Just imagine the difficulties that guys like BratOK or Dimaga sometimes have to go through, and multiply that by several times for Chinese players =/

Grats to LoveCD.
He thanked his family, particularly his brother Sky, and his girlfriend. Said because of his brother he has a lot of pressure to perform, so he's really thankful he was able to win.
Season 1 was great. Looking forward to even more from season 2
