Yeah it is a rather weak game.
My guess is that Darkforce thinks he is the better player and just plays it super safe. No need for him to attack early or be greedy.

WOW, casters missed the point of that vortex 100%. It zoned out the infestors better than any forcefield ever could.
EDIT: Ok, they figured it out a minute or two later.
