Back in the BW days there was a game between Yellow(I think) and a Toss I can't remember on Requiem(Neo?). There was a disconnect in midgame so there was a remake. In the remake they both went identical builds to the first game. However Yellow got mutas like 20 seconds earlier than the previous game. This screwed up the protoss' anti-air timing and it snowballed out of control and Yellow eventually won.

Yellow then recieved alot of criticism from korean netizens. He got so much flak that he had to make an announcement to explain the situation. It turns out since Yellow spawned at a different starting location in the regame, the distance to the mineral patches gave Yellow a slightly better income which in turn made his muta timing 20 seconds faster.

In the MKP vs Stephano game this was not the case. MKP went an identical build, while Stephano modified his to punish MKPs build. Imo that was poor sportsmanship.
