where are you seeing numbers?

This is not the place to talk about LoL viewership. This is also not a place to caster bash/balance whine/flame, etc. Please don't argue about how many views LoL has, or which game is better, or we will be upset. (added page 174) Also, lay off Scarlett please. (added page 227)

Stuff like this is why it's hard to spread the word for Starcraft - people can't take this seriously. The game quality will speak for itself and when you have knowledgeable and passionate players and casters (ala Apollo) you don't need all this stupid fluff. I really don't see the point of trying to force in females into events like this. Some of those involved here are clearly not qualified and they are just there to look pretty. If so, what's wrong with that? I don't know about you but I'm kind of into pretty girls.

And the girls hosting starcraft thing feels cheap as hell, they're obviously just there for eyecandy and not their hosting skills.. (not complaining about eyecandy it just feels misplaced)

Thats actually not true in this case - Anna Prosser is InControls fiance and she is living in/managing EG House. Megumixbear is the one organizing the college SC2 league if I am not mistaken (and is often hanging out with Day9/Husky, they post things like that on twitter sometimes). And Lani is kinda community figure also, I just dont remember why ![]()

Maybe IPL needs to book a popular music act or something like GSL does to generate a larger crowd. It is so sad to see such a nice venue with such a small crowd. Are you talking about Las Vegas because housing there is not at all expensive. Well, still let's hope more people reach the place, because they couldn't get there early enough on Friday.
