DRG won Code S, more prestigious than both MLGs combined.

dunno about both combined, but Code S definitly >>>> MLG......that's why MKP must win Code S this season to prove his dominance beyond any doubt!

Code S Prize Money alone is worth more than 2 MLG 5k 1st Prize. Don't know how much the Arenas are though.

MLG first place is 25k per event and Arena was 5K or 10k

If we are going off just prize money then NASL 1 was most prestigious tournament of 2011.

Super Tournament had $93,000 first place

Prime maybe good, but startale is just on another. 5-3 MvP is a much more of a accomplishment than 5-3 FXO, especially when their best protoss didnt play.

Um, no. Yes, 5-3 against MVP is impressive, but their lineup is on par with FXO. And that best protoss has quite the losing record against the King.

You now realize that the loser of Startale/Prime will be the only team to make the finals all-time and not win a championship. All the other runner-ups would have won a title.

MKP got 25k for the winter championships, they increased the prize pool a lot this year.

Championship = 25k
Arena = 10k
GSL 1st = ~45k

therefore gsl > 2 mlgs!

Am I the only one who thinks that prize money doesn't mean shit when talking about which player is better?

Nah GSL super tourney wins that

Ahhh right then it would go

1. Super tournament
2. NASL 1
3. tie b/t NASL 2 and every GSL.

probably Luvsic vs DRG actually....

Tassadar is weirder. At least Luvsic, you can make an argument that all he did was train to snipe DRG. The fact that NSH used Tassadar not once but twice as Ace was just the most questionable decision ever. Unless we're missing something and Tassadar is a hidden gosu behind all his all-inning antics.

Its not like he would be on that list of top 5 even if he did go... which is still up in the air I believe.

Parting is the player missing on that ST list btw, though obviously they believe in Sound for some Protoss sniping.

IM and Slayers are the only other runner ups. As well as the only other champions outside of MVP. Not much of a sample pool to make your fact very relevant.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

Why is there so much hate in this thread?

Choya's been playing well lately and you can tell his team really cares for him as he cares for his team.
MarineKing is on a tear. I feel good for the kid seeing him finally succeed and pull out all his amazing stops.
