Of course Sase made mistakes, but not many terran's could have traded that efficiently. MKP was never in a position that he didn't expect to be in, he shouldn't have ever felt uncomfortable. MKP was at 2/2 when SaSe started upgrading, 28 EBay, he was obviously gonna take some mid-game heat. SaSe hit a good punish timing and then he couldn't decide which way to win, so he tried to half-ass pressure and then expand, and of course he lost. Did you watch the same game? When MKP didnt have any upgrades and lost his techlab researching stim? 1-0 finished about 30 seconds after that happened. Sase was 20 supply ahead and MKP wasnt mining from his natural for a while.

Pretty standard, after an amazing game one, both going for an expansion, MC taking his gas at his natural (1 for now) and Ganzi just plain standard play.

Also, anyone else getting a ton of lag on the secondary stream? You are taking the term right now too literally.

can't say i dislike it, fuck ya mkp (: He is not yet. It's just a hype. He is definitely one of them and after winning MLG Winter it's certainly not hype. Along with Alive, MVP and MMA he's the best but unlike Zerg Terran doesn't have a clear best player right now.
He is one of the best but not the best. You have to do more than that to achieve that title like MVP in 2011 where he won everything.

Are you suggesting he's rigging the groups to get an easy top six finish?

he'll still have to beat the 2 guys from the open bracket.
As usual Huk had the easiest group of the tournament and I wouldn't be surprised if he got to face the weakest players out of the open bracket.

Why even the top P's never make come backs like this? Stupid race design. Did you watch Mc vs Puma on antiga?? One storm, 2 seconds after the research finished. Changed the game completely.
Not to mention MKP HT snipe mission at the end sealed the deal pretty much.

Calling MKP the best player in the world because of a bo3 against Sase is a bit rash but yea, it's not too unreasonable, with MVP being hindered by his wrist issues there are few Terran's I'd put in MKPs league. His consistency is just ridiculous which makes him so dangerous in these tournaments.

MKP's on a motherfucking tear right now, taking down nerds left and right. I wanna see MKP vs Parting, best TvP vs best PvT.

Sean Plott @day9tv Well well well. @djWHEAT and myself have volunteered to stay longer on Day 1 to cast Stephano vs Polt. The choice was not hard. SC2>Sleep

Well, MKP might be the best Terran all around atm because he's the last one who understand how to win TvP. :<

that's not the point. Naniwa told JP he wouldn't play a showmatch against MKP because he doesn't think he has a chance to win (according to JP of course).

So...how much money are they losing due to the fact that it is impossible (for one person, at least) to buy a premium pass or gold membership?

Yeah, group C is pretty weak compared to the others.

Have you tried to micro against chargelot + forcefields without stim, without combat shields in the beginning even? It was utterly absurd micro from MKP that won the game. Maybe a bit of overagressiveness from SaSe.
Oh I definitely agree there was some ridiculous micro going on that game, but I think that if SaSe would've executed like he should have, the micro wouldn't have really mattered. MKP worked his way through that early game pressure, but SaSe did a lot of work for him.
