Why tournaments can't get over 30.ooo viewers? This wasn't so common last year.

oversaturation

That, and it's an awful time for US/Canada.

So the whole EU can't gather more than 30.000 people watch an event?

homestory cup had 60.000 for the finals ?

It just seems either SC2 is declining or there are so many tourneys that people the viewers are more spread out.

But live report threads are dead compared to what they used to be, no one cares about Code A qualifiers when 1 year ago it was the coolest live report thread uve ever seen.

Tons of top tier players stream, Koreans always win, not much separates 1 tourney from the other, same ol same ol. SC2 has lost it's initial magic

Last year qualifiers had a stream with john/ mr chae. I definitely think it's a time zone issue for this final, added to the fact that IEM isn't the 'top tournament to watch' that it was last year.

Reminder: EU has a large audience that might prefer GE/FR streams.

Well it's 12:30 or some time around that in Europe on a Saturday. A lot of people have lunch or be outside or something else. I bet that if the final would be in the eveneing a lot more people would watch.

also it's very early in EU (and a sunny day), so many people are sleeping or enjoying one of the first sunny days outside

But what are the top tournaments that the industry has? Outside of Korea I mean.

The fact that most of the time, this lan felt like an online tournemant (no crowd) made it less interesting for many pepole.
