I'm more curious as to how Hero didn't see that coming a lot sooner when he completely smashed Oz's push and killed off all his forward pylons, then got FFed at Oz's ramp. I would have thought he'd have gone for the Obs+Blink play anyways Better luck next time. Because he didn't crush anything. Oz's pressure did what it was supposed to do.

I really wish we didn't have to keep including the word "foreigner" Wondering how long it will be until we finally catch up.

Also the Ret game, again this is easy to say from the sidelines and ret is really a phenomenal player, one of the best, the mutas didnt focus the immortals and I think they would have done well to do so, seen as the follow up was pure roach. The final match everyone has said it before but you have to get a robo out in that situation, unless Hero's read of the situation was there was no eco to go dts on the side, he really should have anticipated it but thats what dts are and have always been, a unit that punishes a small miscalculation with a gg. Still well played by team liquid throughout the tournament they will surely bounce back.

He lost a small amount of workers & units/some mining time and killed off Oz's entire army + 2 pylons. Perhaps not "crushing," but he definitely came out ahead on that one, especially considering how lop-sided supply was at that stage in the game. Either way, DTs seemed like an obvious answer to Hero rejecting Oz's push, but I guess it's easier to say just watching a stream, versus actually playing.

I'm not a protoss, but I'm pretty sure Hero wasn't ahead. All he killed were some zealots and pylons, but he'd lost some probes and cancelled his council, meaning his econ was probably a little worse and his tech was behind.

He may have been behind on tech/workers, but he had the supply lead, army lead, an expo coming, and his opponent pinned into his base.

Oz makes DT shrine without knowing if Hero had gone Robo or Twilight Shrine. If Hero had gone Robo, he has superior tech and an extra base whereas Oz has wasted money on a useless tech. If Hero had gone twilight, Oz wins. Coinflip?

Fast 2-G stalkers is usually followed up by Twilight + Blink, but I've seen more often than not, Blink + Robo 1 base play becoming a "somewhat standard" so it was odd HerO didn't do it. I guess I'd chalk it up to mind-games, Oz was way behind took a gamble, and it paid off. Still sad as fuck that Liquid is out. gg wp guys... was a great run.
