Throw in the strong timing pushes that he used to be solely known for. It's great that his macro, which was pretty bad, has improved so much, but going for seven straight games of just, 'Hey, let's make the best finals ever and go late game' every time isn't going to be the best when going up against the strong late game Zerg army. The bunker play was cute, but wasn't any real sort of rush or attack and just to take some drones off mining/produce more zerglings.
You really seem to be butt-hurt about polt losing to a foreigner. Keep them reasons and excuses coming. It's damn amusing.

Polt fucked up in this series.

Polt is amasing, Stephano is amasing. And to the dumb people who say these 2 didnt play great starcraft you should never watch another sc2 match becuase this series was so high lvl and so damm exciting.
Stephano got Polt this time but last time Polt got Stephano who knows maybe next time Polt will win again.
I love these 2 players for giving me some of the best starcraft I ever seen

One thing I would like to see if they play again is for New Polt to throw in some Old Polt. stephano has great game sense and picks up on and then defends timing pushes so well but yeah it definitely would have behooved polt to at least try some
stephano also just shows how powerful near-perfect larva injects are, he can produce the amount of units needed to handle a timing

Are you dense? I have said Stephano played an AMAZING series. I think he scouted, adapted and played Polt perfectly. He played better than Polt. No jetlag excuses or tiredness; Polt was perfectly ready to play this series and Stephano beat him clean. I'm saying that using some of his old tactics, timings, or a powerful cheese after playing so many macro games would have been a good thing to change the pace.

I'm sorry; did we watch a different series ? 3 of the games between these 2 players had insane back and forth aggression from begining to end. Give yourself a break.

As a polt fan, I would be "butt-hurt" if he had lost to a foreigner, but I'm quite okay with him losing to THE foreigner(and till he retires he will remain as such), don't go dreaming about other foreigners pulling such a feat, Stephano is quite unique.

Oh wait no he's 'butt hurt' that a Korean guy he has no connection to, lost to a French guy he has no personal connection to'. Good logic there.

lol fionn don't even bother trying to have a rational conversation with decemberTV he's either trolling or far to moronic to understand what you are trying to say.
He's not even trying to argue with you, he's saying that both players played extremely well but if polt had incorporated some cheese into his style - in which he was known for doing before that it would have probably been beneficial for him.
