When will more detailed schedule information be released?
I'd like to starting planning which shows I can make it to.

edit:

On the day of the event, what will the official coverage portal be? This thread? the tespa site?

I'm also curious about the format of the games for the CSL Teams, with them being at currently 14 teams right now.

Group play would be uneven
Simple single elimination bracket would leave two teams getting Byes the first round

So something like splitting the teams into two groups of 7, where each team plays each other (and maybe the top 4 from both side play in a 8-team bracket?).

Or simply having each team play each other once, and seeding teams based off that into a x-team bracket?

But would this take to much time (though the first version I said would be quicker, since its split)? I know it's a two day event, but what about the pro-tournament? will both tournaments just run side-by-side?

edit: i bet kawaii will post after me therefore he was invited

imo seeding based on their school ELO and giving two teams walkovers makes the most sense rather than having group play in terms of time management.

This is going to be awesome. I have no idea how I'm going to find parking with SxSW going on downtown ...

GL to Dragon and Polt, hope they do well in the tournament.

We may very well have 16 teams (which we are cutting the registration at. We're up to 15 right now. We'll have more info on the exact details soon. It will be fair and be true to the format previously announced.

A full schedule will be posted early next week.

We're working on this (it will probably we the TeSPA site due to ease of updates) but I'll have a full answer for you soon. Of course, we'll have media folks available who will be covering the event and posting updates through their own means.

More soon!
