Doubt it affects polt at all anyhow, he plays so many european cups its absurd(Winning ESET summer qualifier yesterday as well)

Polt is 6-1 vs. Stephano, and have now eliminated him from two separate tournaments.
I wonder if Stephano will start taking ZvT more seriously now. His opinion a week or two ago was still that he's not practicing ZvT that much because he doesn't like it, but with Polt playing in every EU tournament these days it can't be good for Stephano's bank to not work on this MU.

1-2 MSI Cup #5 3-2 Eizo Cup #2 1-4 Assembly Winter 2012 0-2 MSI Cup #7
5-10 total. It's not like losing to Polt means Stephano's ZvT is weak. Polt still has MMA's number and MMA is one of the best TvT players in the world. This happens all the time: Shine vs Bisu, Shuttle vs Flash last year, Cloud vs Goody.

His ZvT isnt bad he did 3-0 puma like less then a week ago and the same Puma 3-0 Idra last time they meet. And everyone says Idra´s ZvT is godlike. I think it has alot todo with styles. Just like Polt beat MMA everytime they meet he seems to have Stephanos numbers also.
Game 1 was amasing and it was incredible high skill lvl by both players i was so sure Stephano was dead at the start but some amasing defence saved him.
As a Stephano fan I think we just need to avoid him abit until Stephano learns how to deal with polt style.

Puma is a bit of a hit and miss TvZ wise. But Stephano still have very good ZvT compaired to foreigners. I just belive its very hard to practice a matchup when foreign terrans just seems weaker than koreans at TvZ. So finding players to play against can be very hard

how were the stephano - polt games, 1 sided? if someone could be kind enough to give a map by map run thro :D

Overall Stephano is 5-10 vs Polt. And at Assembly every game was very close, Stephano lead in several games, despite the 1-4. But I agree, its obv ZvT is his weakest MU and he should train it. Problem is that korean terrans are way better than foreign terrans (doesnt apply to other races so much).

No, I don't think it shows that his ZvT is weak. But the thing with professional SC 2 is that if there's one person or MU that you have a hard time beating, then your tournament results will suffer disproportionately even if you're awesome at everything else.
Take Grubby, for example. He's been eliminated more times by Stephano than one wants to count. Without Stephano Grubby could have made it to many more finals and gotten more wins, at which point his career would skyrocket and he'd be much more successful than he is now.
MKP is another example. His TvMVP has cost him a lot of wins and a lot of money. This MLG, if MVP wasn't wrist injured, he could've done the same thing.
A lot of foreigner pros, I think, have this problem, in the sense that they can beat Koreans but not all of them, and those that they cannot beat invariably cost them their tournament wins, leading to the impression that foreigners suck because they can't win tournaments.
If Stephano falls into that boat then it's going to be hard to make a stand out performance. His record before these two tournaments vs. Polt were catapulting him to the top of the world. Now I think the hype is dying down and the going in any tournament Polt enters will be tough.

The MSI pro cup is all about thorzain losing the finals 3-0 to polt. step aside adel

On shattered stephano tried baneling bust and it failed hard against polts marines and helions. Stephano stayed in game for a little longer but it was basically over right there.

MSI cup should rename it self to Thorzain vs Polt showmatch
