A: Pause the stream for a couple of seconds, then click play. If that doesn't work. Close the stream entirely and re-open it. Q: GOM TV stream won't open for me. What do I do?
A: DL the latest version of GOM. Make sure you've enabled the Live stream feature GOM require you to. If nothing else. Click on the Link below the stream Link above the FAQs. Q: I'm watching the same stream as everybody else but it seems like I'm behind all the time. What'S up?
A: GOM streams tend to lag for some reason, therefore when the casters go on break and come back (cause u need to be able to hear to know if you're fast forwarding or not), hit "c" on your computer to fast forward. U should keep hitting "c" until you reach around 2.0x or 3.0x. When you hear the noises start to skip, then hit "z" to return back to 1.0x Speed. Do this every time because it never stops lagging Q: I bought the GSL ticket but I can't watch GSTL HQ?
A: GSTL is not included in the package. You have to buy the tickets separately
Awesome banner. This will be very close and I think the first match up will be the most important. Would love to see Jjakji against most of the Zerg line up from TSL.
This all comes down to how many players Polt can kill. After he's down TSL is essentially all zerg, and the best TvZ in the world is waiting in the wings for HoSeo.
Polt>Sculp Polt>whatever this guy is Polt>whatever THIS guy is PoltAnother personYet another person>Someone else Yet another person>The second to last person. The last person>The second to last person.
Can't see TSL winning, especially if Polt has been sick. The team is a shadow of what it used to be, and their new BW recruit hyun has not been impressive at all.

^^ Nay, polt will help bring TSL to victory against the Somebodies on the other team with certain players. Fionn is using his curse to his advantage, huh?!
holy shit just remembered... weekend = earlier gsl = don't have to stay up really late/wake up ridiculously early. YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Although I'm feeling very torn between TSL and NSHoseo.... I really love Polt and Revival... but I really like Sage and Seal D: Oh well, I'll just hope for some great matches!
We'll get the complete song and the hilariously long credits. Unless Legend fast forwards them Since the Last Fantasy video is out now I'm hoping we get to see it soon. More IU = more hype.

YEAH LOL.
I was so fucking surprised just there. Moletrap started talking and I was like "Hmm Khaldor sounds very funny all of a sudden might want to clear his - WAIT A MINUTE!"
Can someone ban Moletrap for player bashing? Calling him a scrub after seeing him in 1 series in Code A (which he only lost 2-1 against a very competent Yugioh at that).
Sculp played awful in Code A, but he's a damn good player. Back when HoSeo was still unknown, him and Jjakji were the most hyped up players. Jjakji just broke through first.

I keep giving Moletrap second chances but still end up muting the stream. Polt didn't lose because he "refused to go mech in TvT," thats an oversimplification, and probably outright falsehood.
Sculp played well. Polt was obviously ill, and couldn't keep up.
I was so confused for a good bit watching NSHS trying to figure out if I zoned out through the day's games. I'm usually sleeping at this time to wake up for the weekday GSL schedule.
Oh I love that song choice screen! I also think NS Hoseo is sort of a dark horse team, but I'm really hoping they do well They're the team I really hope gets more sponsors soon ;;
If sculp is a scrub then do I even want to know what moletrap is?
P.S. It would be nice if you did your research on the players you are going to cast before you get to the studio Moletrap. I don't hate many people, but this type of person deserves every horrible thing that happens to him.

Yeah, it's called professionalism. You're meant to be a neutral caster. Say something like he didn't look very impressive in the Code A game. Calling him a scrub, when you're a Gold league player casting on a live stream to a huge audience....
Moletrap thinks Sculp is a scrub because the only time he saw him, a week ago in Code A, Sculp played awful. Made lots of micro mistakes, didn't pull his marines back behind tanks and messed up lifting his buildings to tech labs. As we saw in the last game, the guy is good.
Meh, Dream is gonna all-kill everyone. We'll see the Protoss DRG/MMA in this random Protoss we've never heard of before. Calling it now.

How many players has Artosis put down based on a terrible showing in earlier GSLs?
-San, NesTea, MKP, TheBest etc.
So just because Artosis did it it's fine for Moletrap to do it? It wasn't very good to hear Artosis bash players back then, it isn't now. And Artosis hasn't really been bashing any players lately. Also Artosis is a lot of times better and knows much more than Moletrap about the players.

No, there isn't. People have different ways of describing things, and it's extremely obvious that he's implying he same thing as when Artosis calls someone 'bad'. Khaldor has also called out multiple players, in the KSL, for terrible decision making and everyone praises him for it... but when it comes to MoleTrap pointing out how someone looked terrible, everyone turns against him immediately.

I'd also argue that Artosis USUALLY only does it for players that have been showing a consistently bad performance for a fairly long time. Remember him and Tasteless joking about Kyrix? I don't think anyone is gonna criticise them for that, Kyrix was hanging out in code S way past his sell-by date and they were just pointing it out.

While I agree that Moletrap gets hated on more than he deserves (note: I don't like him either, but he is tolerable and I don't mind it), I think one of the problems people have with him is his lack of knowledge about most players and tournaments. Time and again he's had no clue about who players are. Just last night he didn't know about the Iron Squid tournament at all. As a caster he should know as much as he possibly can about everything SC2 related, esp in Korea. I think it is because of this lack of knowledge that he gets hated on when he calls someone bad after seeing so few games.

How many players has Artosis put down based on a terrible showing in earlier GSLs?

So much biased hatred towards MoleTrap. You don't have to enjoy him but putting him down for everything he does, is so annoying.
There's a difference between Artosis saying that players are not very good and calling a korean pro-gamer a Scrub
Maybe in your world of definitions there is no difference but when you're casting to a live audience you better be damn careful what you say, that is a word that sticks out in a bad way. He should know he will get hate for it.
No, it's the fact that the biased MoleTrap hatred will make everyone pick on him, regardless of how he points it out.

Saying a person played badly in a game and questioning his decision making while casting THAT game is being critical.
Calling you a scrub just because you played badly in ANOTHER game (and just one game at that). And continuing to call you a scrub after you've just beaten the other team's ace is fucking disrespectful and lacking in professionalism.
Artosis has always called out players on their previous game showing (TheBest) multiple times and yet there's no criticism for him. And if you were even listening to MoleTrap, instead of being blinded by your hate, you would actually listen to the fact that MoleTrap said he 'looked' like a scrub in previous showings but after the game, he was wrong and Sculp was actually a good player.
All Artosis has said (with the exception of BitByBit and LegalMinD) is that he doesn't like their playstyles. He's never called HongUn or TheBest bad, though he has said that TheBest has bad control, which is a completely different ball game.
I like how you think I hate Moletrap. I don't. I like him a hell of a lot better than some others. He just says stupid shit sometimes. I don't like it when Artosis insults players either.
I prefer other casters over Moletrap as well, but it's the fact that every single LR thread is filled with players bashing his every mistake just because of their hatred towards him, while other caster's mistakes are simply ignored (Khaldor just dropped an F-bomb live, and the first response is 'LOL').
Except every other caster is exactly the same. Not everyone can keep up with Code S/A, KSL, Korean Weekly, Playhem, weekly events, foreign tournaments, team events.
Wrong; all of the other GOM casters have shown they know more about the scene than Moletrap. I am not saying Moletrap is a bad caster, I am saying he needs to watch more so he doesn't end up in situations where he has to judge players based on 3 games.

Go read one of my previous posts. It wasn't very respectful when Artosis did it. Doesn't mean Moletrap has to do it. Wolf doesn't, Doa doesnt, Tasteless doesn't (unless prompted by Artosis), and Khaldor also doesn't.

WHY DID YOU REMIND ME?!
And Artosis had to cast GSL back in 2010 when everyone was completely fucking awful. How he managed to not just constantly make fun of everyone playing is beyond me. His criticism was very tame compared to the level of play.

Ya, and you put so much work in fixing your grammar. Stop complaining honestly- it is FREE. I'm perfectly happy watching the team league for free because it is for simple fun. If you want good quality buy the pass- I bought the pass for the individual league. People act so frikin entitled honestly...

Hyun's just way too one dimensional. From the past few games I've seen of him, he doesn't really transition from his planned builds... I mean he could have teched up to Broods so much earlier, but he just didn't and stayed way too passive. Seemed like he was too content with his Ultra build.

The problem here is not the ultra, the composition was ok, but it's what he decided to do with it that was painfull (so many donated units, drops that were not that well handeled,...)
I just downloaded/updated the newest gom player and It was crashing and when it did it killed my internet adapter for some reason. I fixed it my uninstalling and changing to older version, anyone else having this problem?

Just because Hyun switched games doesn't mean he suddenly has great mechanics.
His SC2 related mechanics are still poor (creep spread) but his macro is solid I think. His other recent televised game was basically the same as this one. He lost bec his strategy was poor.
A zerg that choose antiga oO Ok, so either he is suicidal, or he has a speciul tictak planned. Both are dumb, as Sculp is automatically expecting a spicial tiktuc.

Not really. He lost because he had 3k gas. Unless I'm confusing it with a different game.

Yes he doesn't know, neither does DRG, nor Nestea, etc., etc. it can't possibly be that you shouldn't be playing this game and wasting your time.
I'm kinda don't want to start a flame war, and my post wasn't as well worded as it should of been, but I will stand by my general statement. Ultras in general are not a good unit. They are more of an niche unit pretty much only useful in a tech switch when Terran over makes Viks and Marines to combat BL/infesters.
TLDR: yes, the Ultras aren't good in other then a counter tech switch.

thats not bad strategy, thats bad decision making. strategy is more like build orders and army positioning and stuff.
hyun is really shaky he looks really impressive at times but then just sort fucks up and can't keep calm anymore. it's kind of sad to watch because it's hard to watch someone handle everything amazingly then screw up horribly and snowball out of control.

Yes that is the game I was talking about on Antiga where he went pure ling/bling. It is possible to balance your gas/minerals no matter what composition you go you just make less gases or later or take drones off. There were a few times where he was close to breaking Taeja with better resource balancing he definitely could have.

It was incredibly frustrating to watch. With that much gas and a melee army he should have gotten more infestors (iirc he didn't even get any? Or just not a lot). That would have dealt with the gas and would have made his army comp more effective.
9:30 - Sculp getting 2 vikings and +1 infantry attack, Revival getting Infestor energy and a third
10:30 - Sculp landing his 3rd; Revival getting +1 melee and +1 armor
12:00 - Sculp going overlord hunting, supplies even at ~100, getting armory, stim, combat shields; Revival getting Hive and Spire

19:20 - Now Sculp pushing into the front of Revival with marine, medivac, viking as +3 infantry weapons finish
20:00 - Supplies 130 for Sculp to 100 for Revival as Revival almost loses his natural, then loses his 3rd instead, Sculp seiges up in Revival's nat; Revival hits gg!
Revival played like crap. Going for Broodlord/Infestor but suicides like 4-5 infestors for nothing. Then attacks with broodlords and 2 infestors w/o any air support and basically donates his army.

9:00 - Sculp getting 3rd CC and combat shields, Shine getting +1 armor and spire
Back in the first couple GSTLs, even when a team gets all-killed (or close to), the mood was still fairly light-hearted, players still have fun, laughing and messing around with silly celebrations etc. But now? The losing team just looks so despondant. It's rather depressing to watch.

To be fair, it's mostly because TSL is depressing. The mood is better when they're not one of the playing teams =)

I love how Shine (intentionally or not) left some of his creep tumors 'non-spread' so when Sculp pushes out like that and kills a couple of tumours he just uses some of the tumors at the back to keep his creep spread going. Awesome stuff.

No kidding, how come no one ever pushes that?
Against blings and fungals, marines can't split as well and tank spreads are compressed or too strung out. Also, you give up any influence over the other half of the map. Zerg could expand everywhere, and Terran might be too out of position to take and defend a fourth.
Nice game from Shine. Had a few shaky mid game engagements, but he showed some excellent mechanics. Love to see the entire map creeped up and every base covered by an overlord.

Do note . terran made 7-8 turret when only 6-8 mutas are out. I was wondered how the heck this guy almost all kill TSL with spam turret. Then he splits his marines. Mother Of Marine split. All his drop failed =(. Terran way behind because of that. Drops are good vs newbie. Vs pro zerg, you just donate supply.

he should contract out his observing services to other tournaments besides the GSL.
You can mute the stream and just watch the things he indicates with his cursor and you'll probably have a more accurate picture of the game than what the casters are saying.

I think most major tournaments still have the casters observe the game and they miss a lot trying to juggle both. It would be a good addition to have a dedicated observer for other tournaments. Would be pretty epic for Legend to get flown out to MLG just to observe games.

Legend's too precious to GOM, they probably don't let him ride in cars or fly on airplanes lol.
After watching this I feel like DRG was being nice when he said that protoss players' sucess was determined by their force field usage. Those were one of the most random forcefields I've ever seen.
rofl at this game really absurd. he killed like 50 roaches without losing any units. zerg denied warp prism entirely and scouted the robo etc. he had hydra den to build hydras but didnt and im not sure why

Sleeps in a foam house with rubber knives and forks. Only eats soup and soft bread.
happy and sad protoss are bringing warp prisms with their attacks more and more. it's so nice having that instant reinforcement where/when you need it instead of relying on a pylon that probably is out of position. sad cuz its scary ;_;
Was a nice effort by Shine trying to use up the sentry energy without losing too much, but there was no possibility of stopping that 4 immortal death ball with roaches. Needed a different build there.

no, its not. in Avenge v idra/ avenga PvZ in team league, the warp prism was built eariler, not after a 3rd immortal, and the prism is used to carry and hide the immortal, not for zealot stalkers harassment. Avenge had less sentries as well. but anyway, toss won.

no, its not. in Avenge v idra/ avenga PvZ in team league, the warp prism was built eariler, not after a 3rd immortal, and the prism is used to carry and hide the immortal, not for zealot stalkers harassment. Avenge had less sentries as well. but anyway, toss won.

anyhow gj sage that game just made my head hurt. i thought zerg would stop that easily lol
Yeh hydras seem to be the best unit to fight that. But then it would be hard to bait out forcefields.

Uh the warp prism was the first unit built.
i mean in game time (cloak) sense, not referring to the sequence of robo production.

Similar idea/gameplan though. Knowing Sage, he probably refined to it work to his style/better.
It would work but its abit of overkill, I think hydra/ling. Making sure you have Hydra range so the forcefields are less powerful
infestors. Seal delayed his 3rd for a faster lair so he had infestors come out for the second engagement. The first battle looked exactly the same, where it felt like zerg had overwhelming force but everything disappeared, then he fungaled the army four times while making as many lings as he could and killed it.
And then it took him 40 more minutes to win the game after holding the push.
Going to be much harder for NSH vs Prime next week(or whenever). Prime does have 3 strong players for each race unlike TSL who has 1 strong Terran and 1 strong(unproven) Zerg in Symbol. Going to suffer a bit with protoss in the ascendant at the moment but, should be able to use this time to rebuild and get stronger.
Really wish they were in KSL so they could practice this style of team league though.

NesTea might actually play in the team league since he's out of this seasons Code S so it's possible. ST probably will play SaSe over Nani if they use one of them imo though.
Also random thought. I have to give IM an edge to actually win this whole season of GSTL since both MVP and NesTea can spend most of their time preparing for the team league right now. I think they are both playing in the mlg qualifiers but that's it.

Neither zerg nor terran really have 2 base timings quite like this.
2 base mm stim timing? roach-lings agression? they might not be as strong, but they attack earlier.
They are higher risk and in the case of roach ling it is often reactionary.
These protoss pushes are basically opening bids that are 13 minutes in the making.
nah, zerg can roachlings off 2bases no matter the toss went FFE/ 3gate sentries expand(which are standards)(So toss usually need a stargate before 7min). and i think terran should pressure with stim mm even quickier now? cause a quick 3rd Nexus at around 6minute mark off 1 gate is kinda popular in gsl now.

I thought nani was banned from GSL?
If I remember correctly he is not banned, his Code S seed was taken away for this season and that's it.

What I mean is that I see the protoss pushes as the game plan for protoss to all in but it takes a long time for the game to arrive at that point. If protoss wins the push, the game ends and if protoss screws it up, it takes the other player forever to kill the protoss. Hence very boring games. I don't feel like we are seeing all in pushes like this from terran or zerg nearly as often.

His code S seed was repealed, he wasn't banned. If he wants to participate he just needs to re-qualify. Ofc I said "just" but it isn't that easy

Last time Startale came out in GSTL, Naniwa was on their playing roster, while Sase wasn't. So it's more likely Naniwa will be playing if they do send out a foreigner.
I think SaSe was on their roster as well - he was there on the bench, he wasn't in the video clips of player introductions but I think he was gone / busy when they filmed those. There were a few other players on the bench who didn't show up in the introductions also I believe... could be wrong. Someone also asked SaSe on twitter if he would play and he said something about how he wouldn't need to if Bomber keeps all-killing. He probably would have said something about not being on the roster if he wasn't
zzz.....The TL calendar just gave me a heart attack, i turned off the gomtv stream when the matchs finished and have dinner i come back hit f5 and see the stream is still running, and i think there was a second team league match that i was missing...(hence the heartattack) but it turns out the TL calendar is being werid

MVP is qualified since providence only nestea is playing in there but he has to win 2 matches only to qualify...so you might be right.
Sad that TSL lost, but I'm not that surprised as they seem to be rebuilding after some tough losses. Hopefully they'll do better next time around. Glad my boy Sage could win a game today.

You left out Losira
But offcourse anything can happen, you could make that assumption with any team but Zenex.
Also sorry to see TSL fall, i like Polt. Grats to NsHso.
I understand that Polt was sick and Sculp suddenly upped his game? (Boy, NSHS either almost-allkills or dies to a Code S player...) I hope that Polt can get better before his Code A round of 48. It would be awful if he couldn't play at his best against Creator, and I imagine that he already lost a lot of practice time.

lol at calling YongHwa (a person who many who considered favored vs High-tier Code A and lower-tier Code S players) and Seed "b-teamers".
And everyone seems to forget that when Curious is practicing hardcore mode (20hrs/day when he won Code A without dropping a game, according to stories from StarTale players) he's pretty much invincible unless it's going to be vs Nestea.

Agreed. Startale is easily one of the stronger teams right now. Parting, Curious, and Bomber are, when in top form, some of the best players of their respective races (which is also a testament to ST's depth in its roster - it has an excellent racial balance, something that some teams really lack), while Squirtle and July remain fairly strong picks, easily capable of taking one or two games off of anyone. I never was very impressed by Ace, though.
I don't understand how Sculp was strong enough to defeat that many good players, he didn't seem that good when I saw him play a couple times against ToD on ladder. But it was ladder, and ToD's PvT is starting to be really scary. Sad that Polt and TSL lost that badly, but I'm sure that they will do well if they can reconstruct, in the next season. As far as I understand, the preliminaries are now over, so Prime will be playing next week, am I right?
Just finished watching the matches and I can't believe this is the same sculp I saw lose in Code A, granted he lost to the Code A beast YuGiOh. He really took me by surprise, as I'm sure TSL was quite shocked as well. Really unfortunate that Polt just did not look well/play well and I would like to see him try mech more >.< Grats to NSH on the win and their ceremony was hilarious.

On the IM team, they're B-teamers compared to Mvp/LosirA/Happy/NesTea.
I don't think Curious will come out since you wouldn't send him out against any of the 4 players I mentioned. They could send him against YoDa or another player, but it's not that great to send Zergs aginst IM.

Well, some players are really good when they are playing in a team league/format and play badly in the individual league
Even though im a huge nshoseo fan, i cant help but to feel sad for tsl. They just looked so hopeless throughout the whole match, especially coach lee.
But i doubt they would have been able to put up a good fight against prime, now that Jjakji dropped out of code s nshoseo have their full roster dedicated to the team league, which hopefully is gonna yield results.
